Clean and convenient, but toilet area is TINY

This should have been a great place - the service was excellent, everything was clean, and the location was very convenient to activities on Commercial St. Unfortunately, the area around the toilet is extremely minimal. The wall and shower are almost up against each side of the toilet, making for an extremely cramped space. This curvy girl found that she could barely fit on the toilet. (I am pear shaped, and usually wear a size 12 dress.) Given that, I can only recommend this hotel to smaller travelers.

A decent stay in Ptown

A solid stay in Ptown. Standout were both the hosts we me as well as the spa facilites. David offered us some lovely recommendations and Marc Anthony was just lovely and attentive. The spa area - hot tub, sauna and steam room - was a fab addition, very clean and well maintained, yet we didn't see anyone else using it! We had a whole afternoon using it to ourselves when we didn't fancy schlepping to the beach, just chilling in the sun, the hot tub and steam room in rotation. The location was also a sweet spot for us; 10 mins walk from the ferry, walkable to the main shops, bars and restaurants but set back enough for it the feel quiet and tucked away. In the room the bed was comfortable (a good mattress) and the bathroom was spacious. We did request an upper level room however I think the room type we booked (Deluxe Queen) meant we ended up on the lower level. That meant hearing every footstep and creaky floorboard from the movement of our upstair neighbours and the thumping of the exterior stairs being used. I understand that is down to this style of property and some may find a charm in that, unfortunately that's not for us. Overall the room was fine however it felt it was ready for some maintenance and upgrading, e.g. the entry door looked to have been patched up a number of times, didn't close as it should and actually just needs replacing. There was also a lot of corners for cobwebs to be left to gather which, again, can be put down to the charm of this style property

What a charming little boutique hotel. The property is very well done and maintained. The service and friendliness from all the employees was top notch and Marcanthony runs a very good operation. He reached out several times prior to and during our stay to share information and make our first visit to Ptown the best it could be.

Parking is a great benefit - but if it’s full up, check with front desk for recommended alternatives. Daily breakfast vouchers are a welcome treat. Can’t wait to return!…

Clean , clean , clean. Nice condition property and everything looks fresh and clean . It’s right off the main drag and all the restaurants and shops are less than a block away . I would call out that there is limited parking, so you may have to go down to one of the municipal spots for 25-30 per day .

Loved our stay at the Ellery! The rooms are charming and recently renovated. The outdoor space, plus hot tub and sauna are nice amenities for relaxing. From the Ellery it’s a 3 minute walk to Commercial St, which is so convenient. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff and meeting Marc Anthony. He gave us the best recommendations and totally got our vibe. We will definitely be back!

Charming and cozy

This is a quaint, comfortable and cozy place to stay in Provincetown. It is near the eastern edge of Commercial Street and an easy walk to that popular thoroughfare. My friend and I stayed in separate rooms, choosing a mid-May weekend ahead of the busy summer season. This was my first time in Provincetown. The hotel is very well kept and charming. The room I stayed in was small but still perfect for me. The bed was clean and comfortable; its en suite was a bit tight but still just about right. The common area on the first floor is very homey and welcoming. There was some confusion on both ends regarding check-in, but the person I spoke with on the phone quickly cleared things up. All in all, I would highly recommend The Ellery as a place to stay in Provincetown.
