Decent property by the Lake. Very spacious. Two miles from food and shopping. Close to airport. If you want to see Badlands, wind cave and Rushmore in the same trip

Absolutely loved it. Nice secluded area in rapid away from the chaos and traffic. Very scenic and comfortable property

Had a slight problem when we got there but management took care of it instantly and we ended up having a great weekend. The ducks, the geese, the herons and the woodpeckers really add to the aesthetics of the lake property. Will be back definitely, management was incredibly friendly and helpful. Awesome little hidden gem of Rapid City.

It's not the Waldorf Astoria but that wasn't the intent. If you're looking for a clean friendly stay in a beautifully walkable setting this is it. Apart from the somewhat dated accomodations (hey, it was a tad rustic but it evoked pleasant feelings of nostalgia for this 60-something boomer) I couldn't have asked for a quiter room nestled on the shore of a beautiful lake (well, reservoir) and park. Plus we had the added benefit of being there outside of the tourist season. I'll be back.

The view is beautiful but the room was very dated. I won't return to this property again. No amenities, old building (look and feel). High step into the room without a hand rail and one key.

The service was exceptional! Deb was wonderful. The “cabins” however were tired, and had an odd smell to them. I will say they were clean. A couple of hooks in the bathroom would be a nice addition.

Resort style property, rooms were clean, staff super friendly. Great place to overnight while touring on our motorcycle. Wife and I loved it.

The room smelled like air freshener. Once the air freshener wore off, you could smell extension in the room. There wasn’t any exhaust fan in the bathroom so you took a shower. It was really steamy and hot and when you use the bathroom all the older we go out into the bedroom, it was not very clean

While place is spacious, it has not been renovated in over 50 years. We chose the place because we thought there would be other children around, but it was a bit of a ghost town by mid-August. The establishment does not recycle even though Rapid City has a recycling program.
