I go to check in and the lady at the desk tells me that I dont have anything booked. The app still shows my booking and I had the booking protection. The lady at the desk kept saying they had no rooms available. Her manager came up and took my information and went into her office. After 30-45 minutes she came back and finally gave us a room. I had made my reservation a month in advance. I did have to change the date to arrive a day earlier, but that was still a couple weeks before arrival as well.

I have to commend the staff, the hotel lost power at 4:30am due to Hurricane Helene and the staff worked through the no power issue and still had breakfast, coffee, provided bottle water, etc

Have not stayed in a Hampton in a while but same old breakfast and everyday the same. Area is a little sketchy, the property located near old run down hotels and homeless

I am a very tolerant person, but I found the staff to be remarkably rude during the limited interactions I had with them. The concierge had earbuds in and acted annoyed that he couldn’t hear me until he took them out. Then he was rude, asking me what I needed, as if it was strange that I would be walking up to check in. My kids were interested in swimming, but the pool light was strobing on and off in a very annoying and impossible to ignore way so we decided to pass. Once in the room it seemed clean until we noticed the floors were absolutely filthy and our feet were black on the bottom. Then when checking out the staff stared at us dumbly as we handed over the key cards and waited until we were several steps away before asking us for our room number in an unfriendly way. I decided on Hampton Inn amongst the other comparable hotels in the area, but after such a poor experience I’ll be choosing another option in the future.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. However, our room had water on the bathroom floor, the air conditioner needed maintenance and the stopper in the bathroom zinc was broken so water did not drain. Plus the coffee pot had a broken lid!

Spoiled Milk
The milk served with breakfast was spoiled. It’s not that it was out of date. But nonetheless it was spoiled and I ended up drinking a swallow of it. There was a young child that had some before me and the ladies fixing the breakfast area. Did not bother to remove the rest of the milk.
