The hotel itself was a good experience but the area where it's located felt unsafe. A lot of drunk people in the streets surrounding the hotel and noises of breaking glasses from the widnow of my room at night. Service was great.

Et sjovt sted fuldt af overraskelser
Jeg er stadig lidt forbløffet over vores ophold på hotellet, fordi det var på mange måder så overraskende. Det første var musikken i receptionen da vi ankom - højlydt reggaton. Så værelsets størrelse - kun 12 m2 (vi var to på værelset). Det gik nu alt sammen og jeg sov rigtig godt alle nætter. Dog forstår jeg ikke beslutningen om at lade toiletdøren være af mat glas og ikke helt ned til gulvet. Jeg savnede også en ordentlig sæbedispenser ved håndvasken. Det andet var personalet, som både var super venligt og hjælpsomt og også meget afslappet, som om de var derhjemme. Jeg vil ikke sige, at det gav et dårligt indtryk, men det var bare lidt specielt. Til gengæld var de super søde og hjælpsomme. Hotellet er også virkelig rent, hvilket er et stort plus. Det tredje var et nyt bekendtskab med to polske musikere, som underholdt os med sang, guitar og kryddervodka den første aften. Skønt at falde i snak med andre mennesker på denne måde! Hotellet ligger ved en lille plads hvor der er masser af butikker og en del restauranter. Der er gode transportforbindelser, så det passede os fint at være lidt uden for centrum og kunne gå lange ture eller tage sporvognen der, hvor vi ville hen. Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig, men der var nok og vi blev mætte hver dag. Alt i alt synes jeg egentlig at det var fin værdi for pengene. Det passer fint til voksne/unge par eller grupper på rejse, anbefaler ikke til familier med børn, fordi der er så lidt plads på værelserne.

Spacious room featured two double beds and had a modern and stylish toilet with shower and sink. Room also had a fridge, tv with English channels and tea and coffee facilities. It was winter when we stayed and the room was a bit cold as could benefit from carpet in living area. However the staff went to great effort to ensure we had everything we needed to be warm offering support with the ac system and offering extra blankets - which we didn’t need in the end. We didn’t have the breakfast but there was a good a selection of drinks available in the bar area along with great company from other guests and the friendly staff. The parking was free, close by and felt secure. The location itself had restaurants and supermarkets nearby and the tram offering a direct route to Centraal station was just outside. The area was relatively quiet and looks to be undergoing investment. We didn’t find a bar close by but the hotel bar was reasonably priced compared to other locations and they didn’t mind BYOB. The staff really made the stay as they were warm, friendly and helpful from check in to check out. If you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to stay right in the middle of town I’d recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel and room were modern and upgraded. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and a variety of good things were offered. You can get to downtown Amsterdam and the museum area easily by public transportation. The #17 tram which takes you downtown is a short walk from the hotel. Several fast food restaurants are nearby but I highly recommend restaurant called Sahan if you prefer a dining experience. The food quality is excellent and the atmosphere can't be beat with a room dize saltwater aquarium. Reservation is required so call ahead but its also around a ten minutes walk. My only suggestion for my stay would be to offer hand soap for the sink

Great budget hotel
Very nice budget hotel with small but comfortable room. The location is great with all the shopping brands you need. Easy access to the center of Amsterdam. They also give you 1 free access for the public parking garage next door.

Little gem of a hotel
This hotel is a little jewel,safe parking 5 minutes away( paid by hotel),very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them ,,room was a bit small but very clean ,did not have breakfast but it did look nice ,i would recommend this place if you are going to the Meervaart theatre ,we will use this hotel again Thank you to the staff
