Worst Experience. Checking in was a nightmare, staff has bad communication skills. Had to sigh a weaver even though I booked the stay on Expedia a reputable company. Then had to deposit another £100 or can’t check in. Am thinking why didn’t I just stay at the Travelodge. Worst part when you check out you don’t receive the £100 for like 28 days, sigh in this economy. Had to do the review to warn other customers. The price is low so you think you’re saving money but you end up sending way more. A scam really

Worst accommodation ive ever stayed in not at all like the description and pictures very unclean and smelly stains on the very uncomfortable bed and carpets the window wouldn't close so had street noise when i was trying to sleep the toilet was faulty and and my colleague in the room next to mine had a mouse in their room never going back

I been there in the hotel and the guy say u guys need to go to the another hotel and there is any thing not shown in the website of ur that its in under maintenance .then i say its ok after i been to go another hotel which was given by that rude person it take me 1 hours to find the property and after then i didnt recived the parking, and in check in the hotel and in 30 minutes i checked out because room is stinky there is no comfort in the bed and flies here and there in the tooom all over is very bad experience

Don’t go here

I was charged a £50 damage deposit upon check in, this was expected but the state of the room was not! Literally every piece of furniture in this room was already broken. I checked out after falling through a hole in the bathroom floorboards. It is over seven days ago and I have still not received my damage deposit. The ‘hotel’ was very unsafe, electric heaters balanced in the floor, room door hanging on hinges and lock had been broken, external door unable to close. Fire doors hanging off. Do not take your children here. Also live with rodents and very unclean.

Dive!

I have stayed in a lot of places due to my work. This place is an absolute dive. I received an email the day before mentioning a £50 holding deposit, but when I arrived it suddenly was £100! Luckily I had proof and was only charged the £50 (which I think is still a joke). I then was told that my room was a in a different building/house down the road. Upon walking in, there was a real unpleasant and strong smell. All afternoon/evening people kept coming and going and slamming doors! When I left in the morning the front door was not locked and the door to the house was open! There should be some sort of check done by staff who are down the road at number 60! The area itself is definitely not the most pleasant! I would definitely not be staying here again!

Very disappointed place.

The receptionist from Afghanistan was very nice and helpful..even provided us with a fan.. But there was no ventilation or Aircon in the rooms and it was very very hot. The basic twin room was outside the main building and the second room was on the other side.. could not stay as a family lots of back and forth. Most importantly the breakfast very appalling.No cups or bowls or cutleries... Very medicore choice of breakfast ...bread broken only honey as spread... The rooms very dirty the carpet has not had a deep clean for years.the pillows very flat only one provided for each person... The shared bathroom very wet...no toilet paper.the steps were very dangerous as well. I was very disappointed with my stay . My kids were very unhappy.Thank god it was only one night. It's not worth the money I paid.

Pathetic hole reservation

Upon our arrival and check-in at around 8:00 PM, we were dismayed to discover the poor condition of our room. The room had not been cleaned, with dirty sheets covered in hair. We were not informed beforehand that the toilet and shower facilities were shared among six other guests, which were in a terrible state. The front desk staff seemed oblivious to the importance of maintaining hygiene. When we raised our concerns, they responded with laughter. As a result, we chose to leave the premises within an hour of checking in, opting for a different property with comparable pricing. It is disappointing that this substandard establishment is listed under a well-regarded h my Hotel.xom group. We incurred a financial loss of £123 and experienced inconvenience and distress due to this unfortunate situation. Adding to our frustration, the lodge refused to offer any refund despite our short stay. Additionally, a £100 security deposit, which could have been refunded immediately, will take between 4 to 14 working days to be returned. We expect the prompt refund of our security deposit and will explore options for obtaining at least a partial refund since we did not utilize the booked facilities. This experience has led us to reconsider our future engagement with Hotels.com.
