Apathetic Staff
As soon as we arrived, about 5 hours before check in, we were greeted with a cold towel and drink, which was nice. Immediately after we felt as if we inconvenienced the front desk staff by arriving early. There is a $10 fee per hour for early check in, which I accepted but still was not allowed to check in until 30 mins before check in time. The hotel room itself is nice and is well decorated. The food is average, besides the pizza which was pretty good. We were asked several times throughout our stay of our room number or if we were staying at the hotel by staff sometimes by the same staff who served us earlier. After a while it got pretty annoying. Not expecting staff to remember our room numbers but at least remember we’re staying here, the hotel isn’t that big. This also stands out because we went to another grenadine island a day after and the staff there were so kind and remembered our names after the first day. I will say the front desk staff came off apathetic at some points @ Bequia plantation. After a while we felt like we weren’t wanted. Breakfast is included.

The staff was very friendly. I liked having the option of eating at the hotel's restaurant or being served on the beach. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with flowers. The complimentary drink and cold towel upon arrival was needed very much so appreciated.

Excellent service! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The facility was clean. The only problem was the persistent flies and mosquitoes. We couldn’t enjoy our meals due to their constant interruptions. There were places of standing water that I discussed with the staff that could be attended to. Aside from that I look forward to coming back!!

Scope for improvement
El hotel es aceptable, pero no excepcional. Las habitaciones carecen de los detalles esperados en hoteles de esta categoría, y la seguridad es deficiente. Aunque hay una caja fuerte, no está anclada y el cierre de la puerta principal no es seguro. Además, hay numerosos perros en el recinto, lo que podría ahuyentar a los ladrones, pero también incomodar a algunos huéspedes. La presencia de perros en el comedor es inadecuada y poco higiénica. Un detalle negativo es la lista de precios en la habitación para reemplazar toallas y sábanas manchadas, especialmente considerando que estas no son nuevas y no justifican los valores estipulados. El desayuno, aunque aceptable, se veía afectado por la presencia de numerosas moscas sobre los platos. La hora de salida, a las 11:00, es demasiado temprana, especialmente en domingo, cuando el barco sale a las 16:30. Para salir más tarde, se cobra 10 dólares por hora adicional, lo cual es excesivo considerando la tarifa elevada de la habitación. El traslado desde el puerto cuesta otros 10 dólares para un trayecto de 700 metros. Es preferible seguir el paseo marítimo y evitar este precio exorbitante para turistas. En resumen, el hotel tiene una ubicación privilegiada, pero presenta muchas áreas de mejora.

Characterful property, well located just a short stroll along the waterside boardwalk into town, lined with bars and restaurants. 5 mins in the other direction to Princess Margaret Beach. Buses stop outside for direct access to the wider island. Staff brilliant and friendly. Good sized pool and lovely little beach area with loungers, umbrellas and table service, plus decent snorkling. Fantastic dining area overlooking the bay. We stayed in the main house balcony room which was furnished with everything we needed, aside perhaps for some shade outdoors. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Relaxing stay in beautiful grounds
The welcome at the hotel was warm especially when greeted with a cool cloth and rum punch. The room itself was clean, well stocked, cool and welcoming. Beautiful grounds and generally cheerful and friendly staff who are looking to help where possible. Breakfast was a little limited however which could be improved. Just two small slices of bacon with three pancakes is a little stingy. The hotel does some great themed nights which was lovely and has happy hour every day. The beach is quiet and clean. You don’t get hassled so you actually get to enjoy the time there. There is a bar in the ocean which you can get a boat ride to but sadly you can only use cash. As a guest it would be great to link this to your room or at by card. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.
