One of the cleanest motel I have ever stayed, can smell bleach from every towel. Although there is not much choice for food on that small town, a subway 3 min walk away is good enough for the trip.

No response when the heat went out.
We arrived around 9 pm after traveling most of the day. It would have been a decent experience, but when we turned on the heat/air conditioning it made an awful loud noise. The temp outside was cold and going to be in the 40s overnight. I called the number given to us if we had any issues and left a message. No response back, I even texted the number. The next morning still no call back. I called and finally reached one of the owners. No apologies for the heat not working or getting back with me. I understand it’s a small business, but don’t offer if there are problems to call a number. Thankfully, we had extra blankets in the car for overnight.

We arrived late at night and this was just a place to lay our head for the night. Room was warm when we arrived and clean. Comfy beds with good pillows. Nice hot shower the next morning with great water pressure. Good options for breakfast and coffee was nice and hot. Would definitely stay here again.

Blue Sage made it very easy to acess the hotel room. My only concern is not having a deadlock within the room but other then that its really good. I would most definitely stay more nights here from this point on. 👌

Big Font: DESIGNED BY FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT (small font: 's former student). Safe? We were given no key, just a door code punch key access. We saw a folded up post it note on the ground outside from a prior visitor to our room, with the exact same door code so maybe they're not changing it between guests? Room #9 was very cold upon entry during our winter season stay. We set the wall mounted air control to 84 degrees and adjusted fan to full blast to warm things up half an hour later. Overwhelming scent of pine sol cleaner permeated the space. Place did seem generally clean (maybe due to the illusion of scent?). Two ivy vines were growing into the room through cracks in the frame around the north side window near ceiling, which had been modified to be inoperable. Added to that rustic character, though questionable. Cold air freely entering via gaps. Free Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages.
