Consistently Relaxing to Be There

Quiet, super clean, comfortable; Always a welcomed respite there. The condos have a really accommodating layout - giving all guests enough private space -- next best thing to home.

What a gem!

Stablewood Springs Resort is nested in the hills in a beautiful quiet and picturesque area. The condos are so well decorated, spacious, and functional. The pool area is impeccable, fun, and relaxing! Yes they managed to have all three in one area broken down by zones. The children and kids at heart can use the slide for a fun dip in the large pool, then heat up in the hot tub, or just swim laps in the heated pool above, unless you just want to relax by the fire pit, all with a view! There's also an activity center with games, and many activities like wine tasting, tie dye , arts and craft.. Overall this place is a gem for a fun and relaxing stay! I strongly recommend!

Nicely maintained property

They wanted me to attend a timeshare presentation, which was really annoying and there was a $250 deposit, which was really excessive. Other than that the property was clean and well maintained. If it hadn’t been for these two points, I would have rate it a 5 of 5.

Location is great overall but you have to know which suites to stay in. We got the presidential suite for the view but our specific suite had tons of thick trees taller than the porch and up against the house which completely blocked any view whatsoever. That was pretty disappointing. They also required us to do our own dishes and take out our own trash to the dumpsters on site. Normally I’d be okay with that at a holiday inn; not a place I just spent $200 a night at. Wifi also is not provided with that cost; you have to pay for their wifi service. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions. They try to get you to hear their pitch for timeshares but if you are good at saying no, then it’s fine. Just an average stay for us; we probably won’t return.

Love this property. But yhis time they held $250 on my card which is new to me. Last time i was there theu didnt required this. Also you have to pay $10 per day for WIFI and service is horrible. This made our stay unpleasant.

My initial impression of the place was “lack of management”. Then I realized that management is there, they are just confused. I thought I booked a hotel. Only to realize there’s no housekeeping or room service, and I have to take out the trash. Property is spacious, but outdated and cheaply built. Again, I thought I booked a hotel. Only to settle into an apartment complex and fall asleep to the sound of my upstairs neighbor’s loud snoring. Upon arrival, we encountered about 10 employees and NO one greeted us. The receptionist welcomed us to the “resort” and told us to make sure to take out the trash, do our own dishes, and see “the lady”. The lady proceeded to strong arm us into a time share presentation. No was not a good enough answer the first couple times. But she got the point eventually. I have no problem staying at a short term rental if that’s what is advertised. However, don’t welcome me to the resort and tell me to clean up after myself in one sentence. Not the best way to sell your time share. Management, it’s all about setting expectations. Make up your mind and quit calling yourself a resort.
