Didnt like when my $80 toothbrush being stolen. I left it on the sink in the room and promptly called them literally 3hrs later after check-out. Called a couple times and it was not in lost found, it doesnt make sense. I bought it 2months ago. The location is not ideal, unless you like quiet, must drive to most places. Bed was softer than ideal, room was stuffy.

Our stay at this winery was lovely. We were greeted at reception with a very friendly clerk who quickly got us set up for the evening. The room was spacious and had everything one would need. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed walking around and over to the beach. The dinner was delicious and the server was very attentive. We also enjoyed the wine tasting with dinner. The winery has a sun room where we sat and read and basked in the sun. Two sidenotes: the bathroom set up - the sink is not in the bathroom but just outside the bathroom (which has a toilet and bathtub/shower) If you take a standard room, it is on the highway side and there is a bit of traffic in the morning on a weekday.

Very clean. Beds and linens were wonderful. Private beach was small but convenient. Location is good for distance to neighbouring towns. The winery was really nice and the wines were excellent.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly and courteous. The dining room was beautiful and the dinner was delicious! The only downside was that the room was noisy. All night we could hear the trucks on the road outside our room.

- Beautiful surroundings, so peaceful and relaxing - impeccably clean - excellent service fiem staff: all departments (housekeeping, front desk, restaurant) - excellent food and beverage - love that a winery is attached, although because of the hours (1-6 PM), we could not avail ourselves. Perhaps expand the hours?

Access to the beach was cute with a deck view of Lake Huron. What we did not like is that they sell rooms that have serious mild in the walls which is a health hazard. They paint it to hide it, but rooms really need renovation. Manager was not nice about our comment about this. I work in construction and these rooms need serious environmental work to bring them to be sellable, otherwise you are affecting guests health. Carpet was stained. Car alarm went on for 2 hours staff did not know whose car is it, so no sleep until wee hour. Needing was put with seems upside down. No soap at the sink. Bathroom door paint seriously chipped. I took photo of everything. Manager advised they wash the mold? You do not wash it you remove with engaging environmental engineers and renovate these old drabby rooms before you put them in circulation. So disappointed.

Staff are amazing. Scenery beautiful. Would have liked to have different dining menu options. Balcony could use a cleaning from spider webs and spiders as did not feel comfortable sitting outside. Overall enjoyed my stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in room 3 and the service was good overall. The room had a very strong musty smell to it, probably because of the old carpet. They really should take that out. The room was clean and comfortable overall. There is no coffee maker but a kettle and 2 packs of instant coffee. The grounds and winery are lovely, though the wines are not that great unfortunately. There is beach access down a gravel road but we did not access it due to a huge rain storm. We ate in the restaurant which was just ok. Food could really use some seasoning but the crème brûlée was delicious. They were understaffed so service was slow on times. Overall, it was a good stay and we would stay again if in the area.
