Disappointed
Waa very disappoi tes the hot tub was not open and there was no advance warning about it. We forgot toothbrushes and went to the front desk two different times and there was a sign saying they were busy an hour later still not there and there was a line of people waiting. Very disappointing as we have never had poor service here in the past.

Not the Greatest Stay for the Price
During check in, I was checking to see if I was able to check in early, and one of the staff behind the counter gave me a look I did not appreciate. There were not enough trash cans through out the entire room. Had issues with the TV's but made them functional for the one night stay. Did not have hot water at all. It was somewhat warm at best. When we went to use the pool, the door wouldn't open for us even though we had our door card. Had to get a manager to open it for us. We were planning on using the hot tub, but it was out of commission which was not disclosed to us at check in. I was lead to believe that the restaurant is located on the property, which is not correct. You have to drive a couple of miles up the road to get to the restaurant. We ended up ordering food for dinner and had it delivered. At check out, the staff behind the counter was more concerned about the upcoming concerts at the facility than making sure my family had a great stay.

Lovely hotel with fantastic people. Room was clean. Salt watwr pool was in grwat shape and the kids loved the ledge in the pool.

Saw a great show. The hotel was great. Pool and hot tub was very nice. All the shops were excellent in the area. Good place to go to get away. The free breakfast was nice. The omelette station was good and hot. The breakfast bar would be better if they can have a way to keep the food hot instead of Luke warm. Even if they had a microwave so you could warm it up would be ok too. We're going back in October for another show and weekend get away!

Blue Gate is the Best!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was super clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding!!! There's a beautiful patio with lights and a fire pit! And there was a super cute ice cream shop! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Place to Stay
This hotel was wonderful! Super clean with so many things to do!! Small bball court outside, pool and hot tub, weight room with treadmills inside, fire pits with pretty lighted patio, small arcade room, ice cream shoppe, etc etc

Great family friendly Hotel!

Mother/daughters get away and show.
Love staying at the Blue Gate Inn. It’s perfect for a short stay in Shipshewana. Great breakfast. Convenient for taking in a show at their performance Hall right next door.
