Great stay in St. Augustine
I loved my stay at the hotel. The room was roomy, a very comfortable bed, and a large shower space. It was very close to the old town. One just had to walk across the bridge.

Basic, clean, friendly, remodeled old motel clise to historic city. Only compkaint was the loud wall unit for heat A/C. Could not sleep when it was running. Have stayed here twice - first time was better as quieter unit in wall

Can find better
Weekend family get away. The condition of the room definitely needs to be addressed, specifically the bathrooms. Some mold and rust clearly seen in the shower, the curtain bottom should not be orange in color due to mold. Room was small, and items were not conveniently placed throughout, like the mini-fridge /microwave. They were stuffed in a corner and hard to get to. Beds were quite uncomfortable and kept sliding off frame. Over all it was only a couple of nights, so we made due. But we wouldn’t stay again.

OK, if you don’t mind the cockroaches
All I’m gonna say about the room is that we had to pull the two twin beds together and when we did, we had approximately six dead cockroaches under the bed. We checked in early and they already charged my credit card although we were going to split the cost with family members. The manager refused to reverse the charges. By the time we noticed the cockroaches it was already too late to have any type of discussion We just cleaned up the floor on our own and got out as soon as we could.

Stayed for one night to bring in the New Year. We had 3 rooms for the family. Not fancy but nice and clean. Beds were comfortable.
