What a great stay!

The size and furnishings of our room were great! And the continental breakfast delivery to the room each day was on time and very good. Our only complaint was the fee for self-parking in an outdoor lot. That didn't seem to be justifiable.

Disappointing service.

The Hotel itself is very nice, the service this time was terrible. Checked in at 4 and our room had no bedding or towels. We went to eat dinner and came back at 8pm still no bedding or towels, so we went to the desk and were given given the towels and bedding, which we had to make ourselves. We were told we would be comped for the inconvenience, and only had 20 bucks taken off the bill. Very disappointing.

Loved Our Stay

Loved it! Been a few years since we’ve visited and loved the new updates, the location is great & walkable to pours of food, water views, etc. The room balconies are true balconies (not ledges) and staff was very friendly. Only downside is there wasn’t a vent in the bed area of the new addition rooms so it was a bit warm ok that side. That’s a design choice so not a complaint against staff. Living area side was perfect.

Construction is not pleasant

Love the room and location but the construction out back is awful, it's right in front of the water view so when you're on your balcony that's all you see is dirt and orange fencing and it's very loud very early in the morning. I stayed in July and August for a business trip and the construction was still the same a month later.

Bask in The Bask’s benefits!

Although there is a lot of street noise due to construction in front of the hotel (no fault of theirs) the location and views from The Bask are hard to beat. Dawn, the manager, seems to work day and night and always had a friendly smile and was attentive and professional. The only complaint is that the bathroom configuration is less than optimal given the size of the rest of the suite. One small vanity with minimal counter space seemed odd when other spaces were so large. The bath area could also use more hooks or towel racks and the bedroom needs a little more lighting in our opinion (there were only two bedside lamps, no overheads or additional lights) but in daylight it was fine with the sliding doors. Otherwise everything about the room and hotel was excellent and we enjoyed our visit.

Quick getaway. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Things that would have made the stay better would have been more mirrors in the room and more comfortable pillows. Only mirror was in the bathroom in a room that slept 4, and the pillows were rock hard. If the opportunity presents in the future, I would definitely stay there again.

Not too bad!

My only complaint is the bed was not very comfortable and the AC units were very loud and caused some vibration that made it hard to sleep. Having breakfast delivered to the room was a nice option. It would be nice if there were a few more options.The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and the location was fantastic.

We’ve stayed in this place several times and always had a very nice, clean room. Never any complaints but this time completely changed my feelings about staying here again. The room was older looking and the carpet felt wet all over. I didn’t even want to take off my shoes. I was so thankful this was just a one night stay before going to our condo the next day.

Misleading advertising

A high price, additionally they charge you for parking which is practically without any type of security We were given a choice of breakfast and none of what was chosen was given. We chose this hotel for the recreation areas and they are not available

Bon hôtel

Nous avons passé une nuit en juillet 2025 au Bask Hotel à Morehead City en famille (2 adultes et 2 ados), et nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était immense, très propre et parfaitement équipée, avec TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, frigo et un coin cuisine bien pratique. Idéale pour une famille ! Le personnel a été très accueillant et sympathique. Côté services : parking payant, machine à glace, pas de piscine, mais un petit déjeuner inclus, simple mais suffisant pour bien démarrer la journée. En résumé : un hôtel confortable, calme et très bien tenu, parfait pour une halte dans la région entre Wilmington et les Outer Banks. On recommande sans hésiter !
