Interesting Place

Definitely was a 2-3 star facility. Had cracked plaster/paint on the walls, toilet seat was broken in my room, AC unit couldn't keep the room below 70 on a hot (above 80° day). Had a HD/HDMI tv but no HDMI cord, had to buy one at Walmart to hook my laptop to the TV for movies. Thought the place was a bix expensive for the condition of it...guess your paying for the 15 minutes to Watkins Glen International

The motel is very dated, could use a newer mattress, but the room was clean; not a bad stay for what it is (an older roadside motel), but was way overpriced (I assume due to it being the Cornell graduation weekend in nearby Ithaca).

I stayed in the King bed suite with our dog. It was very spacious and well equipped with recliners, table and chairs, desk, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was a bit dated but it was clean and the price was good. There was no breakfast available but we brought our own and used the microwave for heating.

The room was older than expected, but very clean and had a cozy, homey feel to it. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the view of the lake resulted in a gorgeous sunrise.

Everything went great until the next morning when we woke up to NO water in any of the rooms. When I went to speak with someone at the front desk, there was a note saying that they had experienced a broken pipe. If it were not for the NO water I would have gave a great rating. Room was super clean and orderly.

Lage top: Blick auf See zwischen Weingütern und Watkins Glen. Dazu Feuerstelle, Schaukelstühle, Fenster mit Fliegengittern. Liebevoll eingerichtet, aber stark in die Jahre gekommen. Klimagerät/Heizung nur bedingt vertrauenswürdig, offenes Kabel am Bett. Auch wenn die Anlage an sich toll war, würden wir wahrscheinlich nicht noch mal buchen.

This was an older hotel but for the most part it was well kept.Beds were comfy and my favorite they give lots of pillows! Also my room had a nice rocker recliner!!! Loved that! Very nice!!!!
