"Average" to "good" rating

I would rate this hotel as average to good. The hotel info sheet noted a limited staff, so room service did not occur until after 3 nights stay. (3 stars) On Wednesday pm 9/3, we went to the pool, however, the water was rather cloudy looking and not at all clear. I declined to get in. (below average) As other reviews have pointed out, the bathroom was small, however, it still serves it's purpose. (Okay with that). On the plus side, the location was great (ocean front/easy access). The room was clean and the bed comfy (good) and the front desk staff were very friendly (excellent). We would stay again and hope for a cleaner pool.

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable enough. Needs some updating. WiFi is only usable in the office, certainly not in our room. Good for the price.

Exceptional friendly service

The manager, Kat was extremely friendly and helpful. She knew we wanted a quiet room and needed the elevator instead of the steps, she said she would let us know when it was ready. I used the lobby restroom and until I came out she told me it was ready even before check in time. She had reached out to the housekeeper to see if it was done before the housekeeper even reported back with the finished rooms. Everyone at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

They Don’t Care!

This place doesn’t care about your satisfaction. When I complained about the cleanliness and lack of service the person at the counter said “What do you want me to do about it?! We don’t have the people!” She also explained that the $300 a night had nothing to do with quality, just the demand for rooms.

Ok getaway

Not a bad stay but was disappointed with lack of room service. Only people staying 3 days or more could get room service only with 24 hr notice due to the short staff. Dirty towels were to be thrown outside the door between the hours of 9 and 12 a.m. and had to go to the front constantly for new towels. Also, take out your own trash. Sand accumulates on the floors from the beach but they were nice enough to leave you a broom and dust pan. Again, not a horrible place but I've stayed at much better. Doesn't seem to be many options in close proximity of the beach so it is worth it for the location. Prices were very reasonable.

Great location and service! I mistakenly booked one night instead of two (thanks to hotels.com being confusing), and they worked to get me another night in the same room, even though someone else was booked for that room that day. Comfort was 3/5 because our room had just a door between an adjacent room. Sound wasn't really isolated at all, so privacy wasn't great.
