Great location but lacks in parking

Great location to most everything is Estes Park. The downfalls. The parking situation. Twice all 10ish spots were taken and we had to park at a neighboring lodge and walk in the middle of the night.

Cute 1950’s updated lodge. Pretty location. Door code worked perfectly first day then we were locked out in the dark the second evening. They responded to our call within minutes. Early the next morning, the code failed again before we checked out.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained We stayed in the Ponderosa room and had our own private hot tub . The room was very spacious , clean and comfortable bed , lovely shower . Only advice i could offer is maybe a toaster provided and more dishes and glasses as we only had 2 glasses provided , 3 of other items , a few more items provided would mean we didn’t have to wash up Immediately, remember we are on vacation ! All cleaning equipment ie. Dish washing liquid , tea towels , kitchen towels provided , much appreciated Darryl very communicative and Aspen the dog very friendly We were able to cook simple meals , stove top and microwave, essential in my case due to food allergies . We would stay again , good value for money Only a 3-4 miles from Rocky Mountain park access and Estes park even closer

Wonderful place

Wonderful place. The location is fantastic, just a couple minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mtn Nat Park in one direction and Estes Park in the other. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. I was really impressed with the amenities, including a completely equipped kitchenette, hot tub, and fire pit. They even have fresh baked cookies at the office. The older gentleman who check us in was extremely friendly and helpful ( it sure if he’s the owner, manager, or just a regular employee).

Room with a view and great customer service

Great room with a view overlooking a creek. Property is convenient for both Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Check in was easy and convenient. We had left an item in the room and was sent a message saying it would be in the office but we were unable to return to the property. They went out of their way to ship the item to us. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the beautiful Ponderosa Room with a private hot tub and wood burning stove. Everything you need is there - sink, mini fridge, stove. Staff was great and Estes Park is a great town to visit.

This property was beautiful! It is tucked away and has a nice rustic cabin feel. The rooms are very nice. We stayed in a double queen room and there was plenty of space. The back door leads to a patio that overlooks the river and it is so beautiful! It was super easy to check in and out and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. This location is also very close to several hikes and food spots in downtown Estes Park so it is super convenient! Overall a really great stay at Ponderosa Lodge!

AWESOME place for a Mid-May visit. Cozy, clean, quaint, close to everything! I love a true old fashioned lodge vibe and Ponderosa Lodge had it. While our room overlooked the road, the sound of the river provided peaceful white noise to cover any traffic noise. Bonus: we saw elk right outside our balcony by the river as soon as we got to our room. I hope to be back to the area after people season wraps up and I will definitely choose Ponderosa Lodge again.

MIST STAY FOR MORE THAN 1 DAY. This place is amazing. The office lady is super kind and nice. She gave us cookies. She even went out of the way to give us an extra bed with blankets. The river is right next to the room. The balcony is overlooked the river. The hangout spot for hot tub, group fire, and picnic area are clean and nicely accommodated. The property is only 10mins away from the Rocky Mountain National Park. We will definitely comeback.

Absolutely loved my stay at Ponderosa, the cabin was cosy and decorated in a moose/bear theme which was very fitting for the area. The office team gave great recommendations on Rocky Mountain NP and advice on how to handle inclement weather. As well as being incredibly helpful in general during my stay. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

Nice stay. Love being on the river

I had a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable'cabin' like. A little old, but they are kept up. The best part was being on the river. The corner room that I had is the way to go. Check in was very easy. Never had to go into the office.
