Beds super comfy , nice hot shower with thick fluffy towels . Wish we had taken advantage of the hot breakfast . Walked from Shaw shuttle to gorgeous downtown and both theatres …great location . Yvonne was so welcoming and Erlinda very accommodating and scrupulously honest regarding my payment . Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at the Finlay House B&B! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the historic and beautiful downtown area. Our room was comfortable and inviting, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was our host, Yvonne. She was beyond welcoming, attentive to every detail, and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Her warmth and hospitality made this a truly unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay in the Oscar Wilde Room at the Finlay House and we would stay here again. The room is a good size with a small sitting area and large private bathroom. The room is clean, and with only one other room on the floor, very quiet. (Although, the portable air conditioner needed in the summer is noisy - but necessary.) It is walking distance to all of the main shopping and dining options in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The breakfast made fresh by our host was delicious and the price for our stay at the Finlay House very reasonable.

This was our first time at the Finlay House but it definitely won't be our last. The hospitality is wonderful. The accommodations and excellent breakfasts prepared by Yvonne are both excellent. You can't beat the location. We parked there and took the brief walk to the theaters and downtown for dining and shopping.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Finlay House Bed and Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality from Yvonne the house manager was exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of charm, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Every morning we looked forward to the absolutely delicious breakfasts she prepared — not only beautifully presented but made with care and attention to detail. She also gave us fantastic suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area, including Aura On The Lake, which ended up being one of our favourite dining experiences. Finlay House itself is adorable, full of character, and incredibly cozy. One of the highlights was the large wrap-around balcony, which we thoroughly enjoyed during the quiet mornings and relaxing evenings. The location is perfect — just a short 5-minute walk to the main area, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and tranquility away from the bustle. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and restful getaway in Niagara-on-the-Lake!

A Lovely B&B

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finlay House. The hostess, Yvonne, was super friendly and helpful. Her breakfasts were delicious and presented beautifully. Our room was very spacious, well-appointed and clean. The bathroom was large with much storage space. Finlay House has a great location within walking distance to most attractions. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Yvonne!

Great trip

It was our managers third day but it seems like a great fit for her! Very good food, personable morning chats. Location was excellent - could easily walk to town and felt safe and easy. I was worried about the Shakespeare room because the bathroom is down the hall but since it was a first floor suite, and they had a curtain dividing the dining area, it actually felt fairly enclosed.
