Not what I thought it would be.

Check in was nice. The desk clerk was friendly. However the halls had a bad smell going to the room. The room was not clean! There was so much long dark hair in the bathroom there is no way that it was cleaned properly. The hair continued on into the bed spread and that looked like it had not been washed in a long time. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. I had to go get bathroom towels, bath matt.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. For me this was just a one night stop on my way home so I went with a cheaper option. The room was very nice, very clean, the lobby and hallways were clean and smelled good. My only knock or negative was at the time of my stay (March 2025) the hot tub pump was broken (inoperable), and the pool was not being heated so it was ice cube cold, but it was clean.

The hot tub was broken and the pool was freezing. These two advertised amenities are why we chose this hotel. There was no discount offered or anything. Then the beds were hard and fridge in our room was broken. It was clean and the staff was nice. It’s not their fault. I will not be staying there next time we are in town, which is often.

We were greeted by Crystal (the General Manager) when we arrived. She was very professional and friendly. We found the facility to be clean and functional as you would expect for a hotel in this price range. Breakfast was good with most of the normal offerings such as waffles, eggs, sausage and gravy along with various pastries and yogurt. The location was very convenient to Walmart, Atwoods, fuel and various eateries and businesses. Since we were traveling on Hiway 270 it couldn't have been easier.

Hotel was fine. Nothing special. No central AC in bathroom. So that made uncomfortable when getting ready. Front desk checkout lady was not wearing a bra and it was discusting seeing her that way. Other hotel help were smoking outside front doorway so it stunk when you walk outside.

We usually stay at this hotel with out a problem but this time the water pressure that’s usually a hit or miss was not good there was a cockroach in the bathroom and a insect on a wall in the room and the key card did not work the front desk lady was outside smoking when we got there and there was someone waiting on her and she came in after us then when I want back to tell her the keycard did not work she was back outside smoking already

When I checked in I was not greeted from the guy at the reception. I checked in at 11pm, the only thing that he did speak to me is to ask us for license and a credit card. He slid the card keys for our room on the counter and did not say a word to direct me to the elevators a goodbye greeting absolutely nothing. As someone who travels hospitality is very important to me. Which that is not a biggie but definitely bothered me. The pillows smelled musty, me and my spouse did not enjoy sleeping. I couldn’t stand the smell of someone else’s head sweat. If I am ever in the area I would definitely not stay here…
