Not worth the money
Tiny room. Bathroom was super small. Bed was ok, although the bunk bed above us had a ladder which was next to the bed and no moveable. Difficult to view tv. Bathroom sink was in the main room. No soap or hand towels provided just 3 bath towels. Paid way too much for too little.

Would not recommend
I cannot believe Ibis charged $248 per night for this standard of accommodation because it was over the Christmas period. This hotel is more like a backpackers hostel. However, I would like to provide positive feedback about the check-in staff member who was polite, efficient and welcoming.

There's nothing to like about this place. Dirty, smelly and unsanitary. Im being honest when I say a cruise ship room is much bigger. I teally dont know what pictures they used as certainly not the same place. We only lasted 30m and checked out. Junkies paradise at its best. Wish i had read the reviews prior to booking. NEVER AGAIN...

Staff helpful when room missing milk, remote control and soap which was only available in shower. Woken early by what sounded like drilling noises in morning. Although on busy intersection traffic noise not too noticeable. Advertised as close to John Hunter hospital but was a good 10-15 mins taxi ride.

The room was very small and out dated.the shower recess could have done with a really good clean looked like mildue around the bottom of it.nothing to sit on.no glasses in the fridge the room was supposed to have a queen bed but it was a double.When you pay $111.00 one expects something decent.i would never tell anyone to stay there.

Unfortunately the room faced the road so there was traffic noise all night. There were several cockroaches in the room. Don’t think the room was cleaned well as there was dirty socks just underneath the bed.

Visiting family.
Budget is certainly the word here. There was no hand soap for the sink and not even a teaspoon, you had to stir your coffee with a stick. Coffee cups were supplied but no glasses for water etc. The room seemed clean at first but there was dust all over the floor and what looked like drink stains and hair up the walls. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot and plenty of pressure. Air conditioner was fine for heating/cooling. We could not adjust the volume for the TV which was very annoying. The bed was clean and comfortable but that's where it ends. Every door in the place including the bathroom door squeaked loudly. All night you could hear doors from everywhere squeaking when people used them. All night people were in and out making loud noises in the corridors, yelling, laughing outside our door. We stayed for 2 nights and did not get any sleep. There are permanents staying at this hotel and I did not feel safe going in and out especially at night. There is a swipe key for entry in the front door, however the fire door at the other end of the hotel is open constantly, so where is the security?? Even at a budget price this place is not value for money. You get no accessories in your room, and you do not feel comfortable or safe! I would not recommend this place and intend to stay clear of it in the future.
