I was going to stay for 2 nights. Many of my other friends stayed there as well with our kids.
When we first got there, we were told that there were no key cards, but one master key. That we would need to have a guy escort us to our rooms whenever we needed to get in. This guy was nice, but was NOT an actual employee of the hotel. First red flag. We were told that this guy was the “special friend” of the receptionist.
All of our rooms were gross. Mine had a hole in the wall, a broken air conditioner, a nice musty mold smell, dirty wet carpet, a dirty ceiling, dirty sheets, a dirty bathroom and light switches. The cherry on top was when I pulled my covers up to sleep that night and a giant booger patch was on the outside of the comforter. Bleh.
The pool area was gross, dirty pool stairs up to the slide, a dripping ceiling in the pool area, and sharp spots on the pool floor in the kid’s area. The pool was missing the floating logs to jump onto while holding onto the ropes ect.
The breakfast was fine, wasn’t great, afterwards we had to find someone to walk us to our rooms. The employee on staff said that she didn’t have time to take us to our rooms. Proceeded then to hand me the MASTER KEY CARD TO THE HOTEL. Then told me to give my 13 YEAR OLD SON the key to bring it back to the desk. We decided right then to find a different hotel for that night. Huge SAFETY ISSUE.
They refused to refund us. Even though we have picture evidence. P.S. I have more pics ;)
