Dont have any expectations.

The only thing good about our stay was the price per night was affordable. Our room was filthy. Furniture and carpeting were so out of date. Room looked wore out and needed painting. The breakfast room was awful. No selection. One other postive was the hotel was easily accessible from the Hwy. Close to Stayton. And not that far from Salem.

upgrade the breakfast and this place would be best

place was clean, staff was nice, only thing i would have to say in negative way was the breakfast sucked. coffee was terrible. but the spa and pool was really clean, accessible and the room was clean. staff was very nice so i was happy with my selection of where to stay on our trip. i would recommend this place.

Disappointing

The redeeming quality of this hotel was location and cleanliness. It took three calls to get the front desk person to not put me on hold, and even then what should have been a simple quick call regarding late check in was ridiculously long. When we arrived at 11:30, she was totally curt, unfriendly, and her communication was “give me your id, sign here” and she shoved me the keys. Our reservation was for a double queen for four people. Our room had three shower towels, one hand towel, and two wash cloths. Given our experience with the desk the night before, we didn’t even want to ask for towels! Beds were terrible. If all you need is a clean place to sleep, I guess it’s adequate?

Don’t waste your money!

I checked in on Thursday afternoon by didn’t got to my room. I arrived at hotel at 9:45pm, desk closes at 10, my key didn’t work, got new key got in fine this time, once in room discovered my TV wouldn’t move off channel. Reported TV in am, came back at around three, again key wouldn’t work and no change on TV. I left again sound 4:30 when I returned 9:30 keys didn’t work got new keys but TV still not working. I also had called Friday morning to register my dog and authorize payment for her on my card. Got back late about 9:45 keys wouldn’t work, desk clerk then started telling me I couldn’t have my 8 pound dog, I explained no I registered her this morning she was petrified of my dog but kept telling me I couldn’t have my dog I said no she’s registered go look and I went to my room. TV still not working properly, still same channel. I gave up and let them know TV doesn’t work properly and I would appreciate a discount for the inconvenience she said she didn’t have power to do that. I worked in hotel for over 27 years 21 as a GM, EVERY DESK CLERK, should know how to fix a TV and have authority to give a discount. All she said was I’m sorry. Very poor management if you can’t trust your staff to do what’s right. No maintenance man apparently and again said no excuse front desk staff needs to know how to handle these situations. Won’t go back won’t recommend, in fact I will actively tell people not to stay there. They are welcome.

We arrived late at night, lobby was closed I rang the bell a few times and called 3 times I finally get a response and the front desk lady sounds asleep saying there are no rooms! I had a confirmed and payed reservation.. she said sorry I don’t have any rooms, very upsetting and frustrating after driving for a few hours only to arrive and be told this, not to mention she was extremely rude!

We had some night owl neighbors above us and we didn't get much sleep. I asked for an extension of my check out time and the staff happily agreed. Continental breakfast didn't have much of a selection but the food they did have was good. I felt the price of the room was perfect for what we got. Everything was clean and the staff were super nice.
