Hastings Ne Comfort Inn

Nice stay in Hastings Ne. Room nice and cool, quiet and comfortable. Only issue, im room coffee packages, with cream/sugar did not contain a stir stick. Also the eggs/sausage had great flavor, but not super hot. There isn't a microwave in the breakfast area either. Great coffee!!!

Not bad for the price

Overall, a pretty good experience. However, the queen beds are actually full beds. The only complaint I would have is that there was not an ice machine. Shutting off breakfast at 9 o’clock, is early in my opinion. Other than that, for the price, you can’t ask for much more.

My co-worker found a bug crawling across is pillow as he was ready for bed. it did look the same shape and size as a bed bug. he found a dead one on the floor. he asked to find a different hotel and the front desk person they would refund his entire stay including the check in. They kept insisting it was a fly but it was not. The microwave was not operational in my room, my sink was cracked across in multiple places. My TV remote had no back so the batteries had to be held in when you changed the channels. Breakfast was not great. limited choices for the main course. I do not like biscuits and gravy and that was the breakfast for 2 of my 3 day stay.
This was the bug crawling on my co-workers pillow in his room while at the hotel

The staff was great, and the air conditioning unit in our room was HORRIBLE. It literally sounded like the thing was going to explode. It kept us up most of the night and there was nothing that could be done to fix it.

We have stayed in the hotel before! We were in town for softball games! The breakfast was great! The help was good and friendly! We noticed a dumpster in the front - possibly they are doing some renovations? The room did look a bit rough, but very comfortable! We plan to stay again in a few weeks when we come back to the area for more games!
