When we checked in, our credit card was charged over a hundred dollars more than the amount on my receipt from hotels.com --not only a higher rate for the same room, but also a $25 charge for our daughter as an "additional person." As advertised on hotels.com, the room has "2 Queen beds and sleeps four." We were just three! No need for a cot or extra bedding, pillows, etc., and we didn't eat breakfast there either. I spent the morning before checkout on the phone with hotels.com and with my credit card company, instead of enjoying our visit. At checkout, we were refunded $89 for the room rate upcharge, but not for the "additional person" charge. The "no refund" policy mentioned in other negative reviews prevents guests from walking away when they arrive and find the room rate has skyrocketed. We were treated very politely and the accommodation was clean and comfortable; however, this is a simple motel, and not worth $268/night! We do not trust the management enough to stay here again.
