Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. My room was large, clean and had great amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic, great selection for breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menu had a variety to choose from.

This lodge backs right up onto the rice paddies, and you can hop on a hotel bike and ride the easy paths right from there. So excellent location for accessing the rice paddies and for photos. It is a little ways from the village, about 1.6KM, so its best to bike to the village if you plan to go there for shopping or cheaper food. Otherwise, the hotel has great food and drinks, but not as cheep as you will find in the village. Everything is clean and fairly modern, it really has a resort feel. Pool is small, but usable and there is nightly entertainment included. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Booked the deluxe room. it was facing the rice fields and mountains. nice view and relaxing. Free bike rental to cycle around the small villages. Room has a musky smell though. Other than that, everything was fine. Staff friendly!

staff except reception try their best.the pool is over crowed and very noisy. The wooden bath tub and the curtain in the room had moulder. The bed sheets in our sons room had stains.The juices for breakfast contains 10% juice and rest is water with sugar.We booked an trekking excursion full day,the car ride was 1 hour and we had a wonderful guide,but after an aweful tasting cold lunch which was supposed to be a hot meal I was sick for three days.We payed an average month salary in Vietnam for that.

Disappointment and anger at every turn

The hotel listing touts services that are unavailable, for example, laundry and the ability to book tours 24 hours in advance. Additionally, the outdoor shower is unusable as it is visible from the multiple elevated sidewalks. ALL outdoor showers are this way therefore no one used them. The food is just bad and was often served lukewarm even when freshly prepared. I signed up for a 50 minute massage and it only lasted for 35 minutes and, yes, I timed it. I went on a ridiculously overpriced hiking tour with a guide that yelled onto his phone the entire time. The room is pretty and the views are amazing but the lights flickered on all night even when I had switched them off. I rented a bike and the brakes barely worked. It was literally disappointment at every turn. I recommend that you not stay here as you will simply be angry and feel ripped off.

wonderful experience

The rooms were clean and beautiful, with lots of privacy and our own section of the balcony with lounge chairs. We had a room without the mountain views since it was slightly cheaper. There are only 3 or 4 rooms like that and it looks like the rest face the mountain views. Our view was just trees and plants, but we were only in our room to sleep and rest. The tour we took for the Sunday Pa Co village market was an amazing experience and our guide was really great. She helped to negotiate prices a bit. The market is a must...there were barely any tourists there and we went 1 week ago in the end of January. Also took a bike tour with the same guide later in the day and it was a great experience to meet the thai people in their homes. Food in the hotel restaurant was good. Breakfast was included for our room, but lunch and dinner were not. Prices of the dishes are closer to western prices. Overall, we loved our stay!

Schön angelegtes Hotel in sehr schöner Umgebung, gutes Restaurant zu angemessenen Preisen. Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Waren im Januar dort, Zimmer war recht feucht und dunkel und etwas eingestaubt, daher überteuert.

Tras ver los hoteles que hay en Mai Chau es el más decente donde te puedes alojar, sin embargo para lo caro que es no ofrece buenos servicios. Tuvimos los siguientes problemas: - Estabamos en la habitación deluxe y el baño no tenia ventilación y la bañera y las cortinas daban un poco de asco. - La comida comparada con bares callejeros esta bien pero para un hotel de esta calidad estaba aceitosa y con sabores mezclados, así como alguna sarten que vimos en el desayuno muy muy sucias. - El servicio intenta engañarte continuamente. Por la mañana preguntanos en recepcion para ir a Pu Luong, y nos enseñaron una tabla de precios, donde especificaba que un coche de 4 plazas costaba menos de 1 millon de vietbam dongs. Por la tarde volvimos a recepcion, y le preguntamos a la chica que costaba ir a Pu Luong. Entonces nos dijo que lo iba a mirar, y volvio y nos escribio en un papel que costaba 2 millones de dongs. Entonces le dijimos que por la mañana vimos una carta de precios, se quedo sorprendida y entonces la fue a buscar y nos dijo que habia sido un error suyo, que se pensaba que queriamos un coche grande... cuando solo eramos 2 personas. Nos precio muy fuerte que te intenten engañar así. - Ibamos a estar 3 noches, pero al final estuvimos dos porque no ofrecían ninguna excursión o información sobre lugares para ver. - Al pagar el hotel, mientras estabamos esperando el taxi, nos vinieron a reclamar 2 aguas del minibar, y les dijimos que nunca nos pusieron agua dentro...
