Nice, spacious place with living room and kitchen, including plates and silverware. Somewhere between a hotel and an air b&b--entry is with a code. Very considerate, pleasant staff was around during the day. There was small miscommunication around the check-in, but they responded immediately when I asked for clarification. The location is good to walk to Pittsfield center and for our drive to Tanglewood.

This was a great place to stay! The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was incredibly communicative regarding checking in/checking out. They texted me the codes to get into the building and room at our convenience and we never even had to go to a front desk. Great communication from the staff.

The suite we stayed in was spacious. Maid service is only once weekly, but when we contacted them about getting additional toilet paper, they were very responsive. The queen bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We were not able to get the TV in the bedroom to work. The sofa queen bed in the living room was all broken down. My husband had to put boards under the mattress to support it enough so he could use the bed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked.

This was a perfect no fuss property in the denser business area of Pittsfield. I suggest this area over the residential areas. Room was really great. There is a separate bedroom with it's own tv. The furniture and bed are not the newest or most luxurious, but they are comfortable. Stayed comfortably for 3 nights to attend Tanglewood shows. Self-check in was easy and great for people who are coming in after doing a lot of things on the trip in. Would definitely stay again.

I loved all the amenities and space provided in the suite. And it was very affordable. It was like staying in an apartment. It was very clean. The bedroom wall was thin though because I could hear snoring on the other side. Pretty view of the trees in the backyard.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed using the kitchen that included all of the cooking tools need to create a basic meal. After visiting a local apple orchard, I was able to make a delicious apple crumble dessert because the kitchen even included measuring cups& spoons, a large bowl & a glass baking pan. I definitely plan to return to the Central Downtown Inn & Suites.

We had a great stay this fall in the Berkshires! The effortless check-in/check-out at The Central Downtown Inn made it a breeze, the queen room offered all you would need! Some handy end tables with built in phone chargers, tv with apps, all the necessities and some! The location was convenient to be near hiking and more. We enjoyed eating at Thrive diner and the Marketplace Cafe right around the block!

This was a spacious and clean and comfortable place. There was room to work on line and a comfortable bed. I couldn't have asked for more. I especially appreciated the lack of "freshening" chemicals in the air and on the sheets and towels. The marketing of smells to the public is just weird, and I am glad you have not succumbed to it.
