Great location and place to stay. Food and service was outstanding. A/C and hot water was excellent especially since past stays it was sub par. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Great snorkeling right off their beach. Great pool!

I have travelled to hundreds of cities and hotels and this has to be the worst hotel and service I have ever received. I arrived a day late to my reservation and I get here and they give me a room that isn’t even mine as I had paid for the king size with jacuzzi which is their “top” room. The room that I paid for was being used by another visitor. To make matters worst I purchased a brand new portable speaker and it disappeared after I left it on the charger while I went out and did an activity. I made a report with the front desk as soon as I noticed it was gone, which was as soon I got back to my room first day out. They gave me the run around and didn’t try and fix the situation one bit. Instead they proceeded to insult my wife and I. Terrible terrible service. Food is also terrible for the price I paid.

We have visited a few times now and really enjoy the snorkeling and lockers for our SCUBA diving equipment, our charter picks us up at the pier. The food is always good AND the staff are always friendly.

Just spent 8 days at this resort and this is my overall review. We went during down time so it was very quiet and not busy at all. The snorkeling right off the reefs outside of the resort is absolutely amazing we saw a little bit of everything from turtles and sting rays to hundreds of different kinds of fish and lobsters. We were disappointed that on the beach we rented a cabana and still had to get our own food and drinks there was no waitress for the cabana on the beach. The food was hit or miss but we never went hungry. There were several nights that the food was amazing. Several employees went above and beyond for us like Daniel and David in particular. We loved that we could rent a scooter right from the hotel so we could explore the entire island. We enjoyed the shows and games. The mexican folklore show is fantastic. The buildings are very dated but clean and nice. The room had great AC and a nice big bed. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. Our room had its own blacony with a jacuzzi tub but being so hot outside and with iguanas etc it was a bit hot and dirty so we did not use. The property needs updating but if you dont need bougie things its a great place to stay. Wish it was adults only but such is life. Also wish the drinks were a tad stonger and they had a larger beer selection but we made due just fine. We would definitely come back to visit this resort. Id love to see Wyndham put some money into updating like they did the Playa Del Carmen on

Have been staying here for a few years. The staff is top notch. Everyone is very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is in need of an overhaul. The lobby is fine, but the rooms are really in need of some updating. The plumbing in the rooms need to be replaced. There wasn't a dresser with drawers in our room, so we put clothing where ever we could. They do have refrigerators in the rooms. The pool is usually a highlight, but was so hot it might as well have been a hot tub: not refreshing at all. Hotel Cozumel is a budget friendly hotel. The food is okay, but nothing to brag about. Mexican night is pretty good. It's an average place to stay.

The cleanliness of the hotel was a major issue. My room was not properly cleaned, with visible dirt in the bathroom and on the floors. It gave the entire place a neglected feeling, which was very off-putting for a supposed resort. To make matters worse, the food options were extremely limited. I expected a variety of dining choices, especially at an all-inclusive resort, but that wasn’t the case. The few options available were repetitive and lacked flavor, leaving much to be desired. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Cozumel. There are better options out there.

One of the rooms we’re not ready and we got there around 5. Shower dirty and the tub too high so it made the shower head way to low. Pool dirty. Only 2 dining places and one of them is outdoors and too many flies and too hot. Decided to go to a different hotel and we only stayed one night at this hotel. We checked out way before check out time and they still charged me another day even though we spent only one night there. Don’t be fooled, the pictures look beautiful on their website but it’s way different once you’re in the hotel.

Wyndham should be ashamed to put their name on this property. Come on, spend some money on the rooms. Paint peeling on the shower ceiling, rust in the metal soap shelf in shower, I have no clue what the drain is in the tub, bathroom door wood is rotting out and peeling apart. Room 1128.
