Even tho breakfast was advertised, there was now offered. We had to move rooms 3 times due to severe mold in the bathroom, a hole in the floor by the bathtub that you could see under the tub. A severally filthy bathroom vent. The front desk lady was horrible and because I requested a new non-moldy room she was speaking Spanish to two guys that were there talking with her and what they didn't realize is,,I understood every horrible word they said about me. I will never stay at the despicable hotel nor will I refer anyone!!

Very poor service, room in disrepair,

Request towels on our first night and did on receive them until our third night, after several request and run arounds. Also the room was clean but in disrepair, see photos.

When we arrived, the air conditioner was not working well and the staff told me to give it 10 min. We left and came back 4 hrs later and the room was hot. It was actually cooler outside. We told the staff & they changed us to another room and had to wait about 2 hrs before feeling the room getting cooler. The WiFi was bad so the TV kept going out. I would not stay there again.

We arrived and the person at the desk was very unfriendly and then we go to the room [309] the door looked like it was sawed off and plywood put over half the door. As we walked in there was no table in the room just two wooden chairs. We walk into the bathroom the tub is filthy, and towels rack off the wall. Only two celling lights and no lights on the nightstand. Will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

This dump calling itself the “Rodeway Inn” in Altoona is hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. The Expedia listing lies about “continental breakfast” — what you actually get is a stained coffee pot and a dirty cup. No food. Nothing. Just false advertising. The room? Disgusting. It stinks like mold and body odor, the bedding feels like it’s never been washed, and even the door is sticky with filth. Walking in made my skin crawl. To make things worse, they force you to pay a $50 security deposit and then never return it. This is pure theft. This place is a scam, a health hazard, and an embarrassment to the hospitality industry. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being lied to, robbed, and grossed out.

Basic Shabby Chic

We had stayed at the Rodeway Inn before. The lobby was rough. But the people that worked at the desk were nice. The outside of the hotel could use a good weeding. I was surprised how clean the room was. Keep in mind this hotel is very basic but it more than did its job for a one night stay. I want to again thank the front desk staff of not having to give up my first born child to get registered. There is another in the area that you have to supply both ID for my husband and myself. Sign an agreement no pets no smoking no moving furniture. Thank you for making it Easy.
