8/10 Very good

Close to Kings Cross. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was small but very clean. It was great for one night but would not be great for a long stay as there was very little storage for clothes- no hangers , plus the mirrors were too high to look into so it was impossible for shaving, makeup, hair etc.
Janet, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good base right near to kings cross, the guys were really friendly. We found some other residents quite noisy but this is no fault of the hotel. Room had everything needed. Were able to leave bags on check out to pick up later, really helpful.

Good basic hotel near kings cross

Good stay, they could do with some coat hooks in the room or some hanging space! Had all the basic amenities covered, and were very helpful when required.

Great location! I love the self check in and check out. We could also leave our luggage the next day as we had a late train leaving london. The room was very practical for everything you need and in a great location! Would I stay again - yes!

Good stay! Room was super tiny, but we were only stopping through for a night, and it was super close to the train station, which is what we were aiming for. Staff made check-in and check-out super simple.

Clean and cheap.

Wanted cheap, clean stay. Ideal location near to station. Very friendly people . Clean and cheap. Would recommend.
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location.

Good location. Check in quick and easy and allowed us to check in early as rooms ready when we dropped bags off. Rooms small but ok as only slept in room. Our only issues were heating on all night which we couldn’t control so very warm and window wouldn’t open properly. Water pressure in shower also poor. Ok for our one night stay.
Carole, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Business stay

A little bit noisy and shower was cold but couldn’t find anyone to help fix it. Modern decor and easy to find/check in. Clean and comfortable just a pity about the above.
Luke, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Luxury lodge.

Lovely host who went out of his way to get us into our room early. The luxury chalet was ok for one night however the outside light shone through the window all night which caused a disturbance. The bathroom is very tired and requires some maintenance leading to a damp smell and uneven floor. We also noticed ants within the room.
Nicola, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

What a warm welcome from Front of House! My bag was whisked to my first-floor room with a wonderful view of the garden square. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room has some quirky rather engrossing art, the shower was good and strong ... can recommend the Melville for anyone who fancies a night or three in a really good part of town.
Giovanna, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

major building work nearby. Seemed to be a large group of men congregating regularly during the day in the small park next to the hotel. Could be intimidating for some people. Hotel itself very nice, with pleasant staff..
Joe, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good stay.

A very pleasant experience, help with our bags ( no lift). Offer to store bags after checkout. Good all around.
Lynn, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Quirky decor. Gréât service. Very easy to access.
ANDREW, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good value and location. Bit small room though. The manager walked into the room without knocking to ask us when we was leaving completely unprofessional
Zohaib, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely hotel. Stayed here 1 night after returning from Disneyland. Hotel is across the road from St Pancreas Station. I was exhausted when we arrived back around 10pm. Room was beautiful, lovely comfy bed and hot shower was very much appreciated. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine plus kettle was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Dean, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Only stayed for 1 night and it was due to its proximity to the Eurostar which was fantastic, the bad points were to some extent not the hotels fault. It was a fairly warm night, high 20’s and couldn’t have the windows open due to the surrounding areas just being so nosy it was almost non stop sirens from the surrounding sreas and just general noise from the outside so had to shut the window to reduce the noise (not completely remove it) having the window shut made the room even hotter as there is zero airflow or anything to cool down the room, there was also loud banging from other guests every time a door was opened/closed and etc. I think if you do say here take some ear plugs and maybe only book for the colder months of the year. The staff were polite and efficient, the location is a short walk from the station, the facility’s were dated and not In the best condition but the real reason I wouldn’t stay again is the complete lack of sleep that was had from the noise and heat.
Jamie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Avoid like plague

Awful. Black mould everywhere. Door had been stripped of security lock and fitted with what looked like a child’s toy with only one locking point. Damp everywhere. Not even a bin that stays closed, aerating the place with whatever you’ve had to throw away. Not suitable for children.

It’s was a very pleasant experience and the staff were very friendly and very caring, we had accidentally forgot the insulin in the fridge for my son and the staff made it a priority to reach us out and stayed until we were able to pick it up, we were grateful and happy with the staff
