Beautiful hotel but not service oriented.
No breakfast service. Lost diamond bracelet down drain, no drain cover protection. Plumbing person took 2 hrs to find and repaired while I needed to shower and get ready. Ended up late for my meeting, and couldn’t eat breakfast.

I have pictures of the uncleanliness and the shower handle bracket broke and the shower head fell and hit my knee. Mustache and beard trimmings were in the sink and black long strands of hair in the shower. Makes me sick just re-capping the awful experience at such a beautiful hotel. The front desk staff and the manager, were awesome and promised to take care of my stay complimentary however, I was double charged. Once on the card to hold the reservation on Orbitz and also the card used upon checking in.

Beautiful property, very clean and updated with a very classy Mediterranean style. Valet is included in the resort fee which is nice if you have a car, as there is no off street parking in the area. A few things to consider: newer hair dryers in the room, it was a very old clunky hair dryer that barely had any flow, so maybe pack your own. The pool is heated which was great for the 50s-60s temperatures that FL was having. The floor of the pool is quite sharp! 3/4 of us cut ourselves on either the floor or the wall just by stepping off the step too quickly or brushing the side of the pool with my hand. Same with the jacuzzi. Maybe it was because it was slow season but the front desk often didn’t have anyone there, they were in the hotel just gone from the desk, probably one staff at a time working. Had waited to check out because I wanted to look over my receipt, but after 15 min no one showed up I had to leave and contact the hotel for a copy. Unfortunately the area it self is still recovering from the hurricane and many of the small businesses have not reopened and there isn’t any public beach access in walking distance, so we were thankful for a comfortable and beautiful room to relax in since the area was so quiet.

Decor nice but stay was underwhelming
This is a very pretty hotel. The hotel was recently renovated BUT with that being said let’s get into it. Rooms are very pretty but bathrooms were not remodeled. I found clumps of hair in shower from previous guests. Then the shower has a handheld and over head. The handheld never produced hot water and the overhead would give you scalding hot water at a very light pressure. It was not an enjoyable experience. The bedroom lighting beside bed hung off the wall with wires exposed like it was going to electrocute you. What I found to be most annoying was the fact there is NO phone in the room to contact the front desk. Valet parking but no way to ask for car. If you would like to discuss the hot water issue etc. you will need to go downstairs. I also ordered food and it sat at front desk until I went down to ask about it. Most hotels bring to your room or call to let you know about the delivery. Just a strange vibe to hotel. I will not stay again even though I thought the decor was nice.

Very clean contemporary hotel very near the beach and shops. Minimalistic in style of furnishings and extremely clean. The in room espresso was a true treat. Not sure valet parking was necessary, but was provided. Overall a great weekend hotel!

Stayed at Zamora before so we did again as the grandparents don’t have room for us when my husband and I visit our hometown for holidays. Very disappointed in the renovations-everything is now white and looks like a sterile hospital room; all the charm and character are gone, and they’re still working on a lot-there was drilling and paint and ladders in the hallway, and there was no hot water our first night. The rest of the time, it took running the water for an extended time to get the water to warm up to shower. Paint marks and dust were still all over the bathroom. They’ve taken everything out of rooms like phones, and drinking glasses, so again, it feels sterile and not homey, or “guest-friendly”-imagine having to use your cell to look up the hotel number to go through extensions to get the front desk. It’s a pain. Things were also not great quality this trip-towels were thin and thread-bare, ironing board was broken and we had to ask multiple times for a new one. You used to get wine when you checked in and fruit-infused water and cookies used to be available at all times in the lobby, that’s gone. When we checked in, we were one of only a couple guests in the hotel, and a repeat guest, yet we were given a room that was smaller than our last stay and facing an alley and apartment building next door. The mandatory valet parking was short-staffed so when the restaurant had lots of guests for the holiday meals, we had to wait for 20 minutes. Will not be returning.
