Room was clean, stayed 2 nights power kept going out in bathroom area, was never fixed they kept flipping the breaker, instead of fixing it. Hotel needs a lot of updates. Hotel crew were very friendly.

The upstairs people were walking across the floor and it was very creaky & noisy. The bathroom needs a real remodel. Very dated and the surround tub fix was not the answer. Also there were 5 dogs outside tied up that were barking.

Excellent view of Lake Huron and island a few miles offshore. Castle Rock towering upward toward the sky is a mile north. Very appealing town. Easy access to I-75.

This was an older property, but very well kept with only a few minor cosmetic flaws. Absolutely loved that the room was waterfront with a balcony: you could hear the waves on the shore from the room. We enjoyed the fire pit that was on the beach and the continental breakfast in the morning: just enough food to fill your belly before a quick trip to the marina and ferry to Mackinac Island. The Days Inn did not have ferry tickets, but the hotel right next door did, so it wasn’t a problem. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The property was good but it was not too handicap friendly due to stairs going into our room on the lower level on the lakefront. Shower was difficult to turn on. Other than that it was a pleasant place to stay.

Property is well kept, rooms are clean.kitchen d friendly with a few things for kids to do. On beach and outside pool The lake guts ng in room was not very bright so that made it a little harder for person who had had a lot of eye surgeries or a person who had eye problems. That need the brighter light. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay and the price was fair. Person checked ng us in was very friendly and polite and nice to the kids

Don't do it

I read the mixed reviews and decided to give this place a chance and it was as bad as the worst reviews state. The rooms, the grounds, the beach were all in awful condition. As much as they charge per room, they should be able to start renovating these outdated, rundown rooms. The staff were all kind and helpful. The continental breakfast, while small, was fine. Everything was fresh and replenished as needed. We unfortunately won't be back.

The door in our room was gross. It also didn't have a latch to lock it at night.

Wyndham should not be connected with this motel. Location is perfect. Property itself is not in good shape. Dated. Tired. Condition of interior needs repairs. Old, old bathroom. Lamp between beds needs fixing. Inside door of bathroom needs replacing.
