The price is reasonably low for a hotel with such a good location(near Terminal 21 Shopping Centre). The swimming pool’s beautiful. However, there is very much room for improvement.
Firstly, there is not much customer service. For example, for the first day when my friends and I arrived at the hotel, we expected the hotel staff to greet us and help us to carry the luggages up the stairs but they didn’t(there are several steps in front of the lobby and my friend felt difficult to carry her luggage up). We could even barely see the staff who were actually sitting behind the front desk.
Secondly, some of the staff were not able to speak or understand English. I don’t expect everyone of them to speak fluent English, but we just expect that there will at least be one who understands what we are trying to say at anytime. When we checked in on the first day, I asked the only 3 staff on duty if there was any restaurant nearby. But, none of them understood what I was asking and they just discussed among themselves using their languages and later replied me that the restaurant was inside the hotel... I truly don’t think this question is so complicated~
Thirdly, the hotel looked very much like a haunted place. There was no light at all at the staircase and even for the corridor, the light was very dim. The light in the lift was sometimes flickering, and the lift was even under maintenance on the last day that we had to carry the luggages all the way down the stairs ourselves.
