I travel extensively for business. The hotel is very quiet, up to date and clean. Breakfast was normal hotel fare with many offerings. Parking was adequate.
I made my reservation through Hotels Com. My option online was King bed with walk in shower or King bed /hearing accessable which shows a tub/shower image. Since I have MS, I chose the 2nd option to be able to soak in a tub.
When I arrived at the hotel, I learned ALL king rooms have walk in showers. The only rooms with bathtubs are the rooms with 2 queen beds. I was willing to pay extra to switch to a room with 2 queen beds. Even though the hotel was far from full (14 cars in the parking lot), they would not accommodate my request.
So for an extra $20 that I was willing to pay for a tub, you've lost a customer. Might not seem like a big deal but when you battle MS and like to soak to help alleviate tingling, it's a big deal.
Btw. Don't tell me changes would need to be done through the 3rd party booking. YOU manage the motel, YOU make customer decisions regarding your property.
