Mediocre Stay.
The staff when I was checking in was not the most friendly. I had called early as I was in town quicker then expected and asked if I could early check in the response was a short no followed by a prompt hang up before I could ask another question. When I was booking I had specifically asked for a pet-friendly room as I have an ESA that travels with. They never called to verify and upon arrival had a somewhat confrontational encounter about the error that I wasn't tracking on in regards to my room, which would have been my next question earlier if I hadn't been hung up on. I luckily had my ESA letter and the situation was rectified albeit should have not happened in the first place. Both situations resulted in me feeling disheartened and made me feel like the hotel didn't care about my needs or stay. The overall shape of the hotel was okay, the bed was very firm and hard to sleep in, but room was clean and what I needed for the weekend. I think in future instances I may either spend more at another hotel or look to stay with family and spend more time commuting to my business ventures.
