Business Overnight Stay
There was no milk provided in the room. For the breakfast, they forgot my bacon, the beans were very watery and alongside the toast were unfortunately cold. They also forgot my partners coffee. The spa was lovely though.

Nice hotel but not 5 star
It is a nice hotel. The staff are friendly. However, it is not a 5 star hotel. The staff are not professional enough and things do not work properly. It is a tired four star hotel at best.
The welcome was chaotic - with the staff not able to organise queues so the whole situation became uncomfortable. The rooms are old and need modernising.
At breakfast - the person seating people was stressed and panicked. There was a 10-15 minute wait for coffee as their machines weren’t working but this was not told to us until we asked where the coffee was. The eggs Benedict was awful (see photo) - the muffin was rock solid and the sauce was anything but luscious.
It just seems that they need to provide more staff and train those staff in proper customer service.
If you want a nice hotel this is fine. If, however, you are looking for a luxury hotel - this is not for you.

Never released deposit
At check in they reserved a deposit of £200 that they claimed they would release after check out. They never released it, and will not answer my emails about it.
