The hotel is conveniently located, but it was very worn out and in need of repair. The heater blew out cold air.
The lobby and area for breakfast was freezing…people were eating breakfast in their winter coats!
The absolute worst hotel experience of my life (and I have travelled quite a bit) happened on the morning of check out.
We were there for my father’s funeral.
We went down to the Antarctic lobby to grab some breakfast to bring back to the room.
When we got back up, the key didn’t work. I went down to the desk and it was reprogrammed
Back up and still doesn’t work.
Back down and given a new key-still doesn’t work.
Back down (now frantic) as we are supposed to be leaving for the funeral.
Told the maintenance man will be in at 10.
It is now 8 AM and we are supposed to be leaving.
Desk attendant came up with the master key-still didn’t work
I suggested calling the Fire Department to knock in the door.
My father is about to be buried with military honors and his oldest son is going to miss it.
What if I was having a heart attack in there.
I could not believe what was happening.
The desk clerk finally returned with someone on the phone who walked her through how to get the lock opened.
Needless to say. We were late for the funeral.
Embarrassing.
Just a ridiculous situation and unforgivable!
Appalling that they can’t get into your room in an emergency!
I will never return here.
I did call the manager and received a refund for one night

Who says a chain hotel can't be welcoming
Our family of 3 and dog stayed over Christmas night and everything was perfect--amazingly friendly and professional staff, great room, superb breakfast and delicious coffee served with halfnhalf--not little creamers. As I told the wonderful staff, we will be back.

Hi it was fine- Excellent shower and room amenities. Front desk rarely had anyone there it was hard to find help.
Also they charged $100 and locked up my card for many days and I did not use any services- this was annoying. Also why don’t you include parking with the room??? That is very onorous in a location where everyone has to have a car:

Took 20 minutes to get in the room keys kept not working also tiles broken in bathroom heat not working to good 1 elevator working also the over book there hotel and had to pay for parking
