Was checked into a lower level room with a view of the parking lot. We had to keep the curtains drawn so people couldn’t look in. It made the room dark and unappealing. I asked if we could be switched and the lady at the desk was unapologetic,nor offering to find a way to make our stay better. She said it was full up and had no way to change the room because that’s not something she does. She was surprisingly indifferent to the fact that we’d spent a lot of money for what was supposed to be a pleasant stay. By the way, if you offer “continental” breakfast during certain hours we expect the food to last. There is no excuse especially when all that is provided are prepackaged items. We are in Cambria a couple times a year and it’ll be our last stay at this “boutique” hotel. Don’t expect upscale charm as the website states.
