Room is small but as expected, for our family of 4 of us just stay there for a couple of hours to get some sleep before our early morning flight. We pre-booked a transfer to airport and I told the staff that we will fly to HK via Sydney, but the driver was told by hotel to took us to international airport, and turns out we should be in domestic airport. We finally spent 30 mins more on getting to the right airport. This was a hiccup. Other than that the hotel is good, we didn't get our complimentary breakfast though. There is a big Outlet which is just few steps away and so we enjoyed a bit of shopping before we come back home.

"I stayed at the Novotel Brisbane Airport recently and was underwhelmed by the experience. The room was comfortable, but the price was far too high for what you get.
The additional fee for car parking was the icing on the cake. It's unacceptable to charge guests extra for parking, especially when it's not clearly disclosed upfront.
Unless you're desperate for a place to stay near the airport, I'd recommend exploring other options that offer better value for money."

Room fine. Quiet and clean. Staff very helpful and a very decent restaurant. I’d definitely stay again.
The only negative is a musty smell on carpeted areas which is pretty normal with some hotels. Not a complaint though.

Not the Novotel Standard!
Upon arrival our group of 6 were warmly welcomed & informed of the hotel facilities along with nearby conveniences.
Unfortunately our stay wasn’t pleasant beyond check in. The lifts had no air flow/ air conditioning and felt like a sauna & musty odour. Our rooms were on the top level and the musty odours in the rooms was very off putting. One of the rooms had rubbish in the bin from a previous guest, another room the iron didn’t work & the overall room hygiene standard was sub standard compared to other Novotel Hotel stays.
Breakfast check in took almost 20 minutes as there was only one female staff member who was making takeaway coffee’s whilst trying to attend to checking in guests for breakfast. One of our group has food allergies and waited over 30 minutes for an omelette to be made as there was only 1 chef. The buffet breakfast on offer was sub standard with the scrambled eggs like lumpy soup, the pancake machine ran out, the fruit salad was anything but fresh! At check out the female Duty Manager did not greet any of us in a friendly manner, she seemed very annoyed about something as she was speaking to the other reception staff in a very unpleasant manner. When we were checking out she claimed
that we needed to pay for breakfast. I provided her with all 3 room booking confirmations which included breakfast, however she was not accepting of that and was extremely rude & condescending.
What should have been the start of our vacation turned into an upsetting situation.
