An excellent choice
Let's accept the fact that NYC is expensive. This hotel is on an affordable side. That being said, there is nothing short of. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes walk from Grand Central. Definitely fully recommended.

Convenient, comfortable, clean
Everything about the stay was convenient and comfortable. The room was small, but that was accurately described and what I expected. Everything was clean, mattress, linens and towels were high quality, and I appreciated that even with a small room the bathroom didn't feel cramped at all.

Cool, comfortable, and efficient space!
The hotel and room were a model of efficiency, creating comfort, coolness and cleanliness in a relatively small space. My only issue with my particular room, which overlooked 2nd Avenue, was traffic noise. However, that issue does not stop me from giving it five stars based on the price and overall experience.

Great first NYC experience!
Our first NYC experience was the BEST with our stay at Little Charlie! Room was small (yet cozy and comfortable), but exactly what we expected and what we were looking for. Andrew at the front desk was so helpful, even with the 20 million questions we had about how to get around Manhattan and general questions we had about NY! It was the perfect location for us as it is next door to a convenience store, across the street from an awesome karaoke bar (Keats; they ROCK and a must to go check out!), and not too far of walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Grand Central Station. We definitely would recommend this hotel to others and would stay again if we ever get the opportunity to visit again! Thanks for making our trip AMAZING!

Absolute GEM!
This is an absolute hidden gem nestled away in NYC! I would give it 100 stars if I could. It is the cutest little boutique hotel you’ll ever stay at. The staff is attentive and helpful and check-in is a breeze! The rooms are cozy, clean, and updated. The beds are the most comfortable bed you’ll ever sleep in. My teenagers didn’t want to leave to come home. The playlist in the lobby is the “most aesthetic thing ever” according to my oldest child and the rooftop is SO adorable. It snowed and we took 11,000 pictures up there. 20/10 recommend.

Very nice clean, safe place to lay your head.
This was the perfect hotel for my one-night stay. I was just there to see two Broadway shows and an exhibit at the Met, so I didn't need anything more than a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep. This was that and then some. I will definitely be back. It's minimalist, but all I needed. And there's a great 24-hour deli next door.

Fun, cute place
Great location, cool spot and comfy room. TV looks like a framed picture, so that was neat. Close to Grand Central Station so made getting around town and to the airport subway/trains easy. Bed was right next to window which was also cool. The best part is the rooftop igloos which are free and heated and have cool lights and electric blankets. Only downside was that the rooms aren’t super soundproof so you could hear things going on in other rooms at times. Great overall tho!
