Our trip was just a stay over to attend appointments and avoid lengthy train journeys to and from London.
The hotel is very easy to find, a mere stones throw from Kings Cross ST PANCRAS stations.
Check in was very quick and efficient and we had our room key in minutes.
We were put in the annex over the road, which didn't present a problem as such.
The room, though compact had two double beds and was spotlessly clean, comfortable with everything you could want, including ample tea and coffee making provisions.
Shower room, again, spotlessly clean and the shower the following morning, providing ample hot water, big white towels adorned the bed in a fan sheet on arrival.
The downsides, but I write an honest review were that our room more or less sat above London Underground's Piccadilly Line and in actually working for the company, we knew exactly what time to expect the first train in the morning, so if you're a light sleeper, you should ask for a higher floor.
Talking of higher floors, the one above us amplified every foot step of the occupants above and it would be fair to say, they weren't light on their feet!, so between them and the Tube, not a great nights sleep.
That said and all things considered, would we stay there again - YES, as I'd know what to ask for the next time.
