Super loud and small
Cute hotel. Good breakfast. There was an extraordinarily loud party the first night on the roof when we were exhausted from traveling and wanted a nap and an early night. The front desk was incredibly unhelpful and ignored our requests to moderate the volume. We later asked for a manager to speak with us about it and no one ever did. The room is comfortable but tiny, with barely room to walk around the bed even though it is called a suite. And the spa costs like 50 dollars to use the jacuzzi and sauna for 45 minutes, which seemed so short we didn’t bother. It’s a convenient location but I would not go back.

Absolutely lovely hotel! It was on a very nice street with little bars and cafes, so clean, staff was lovely and the hotel restaurant and rooftop bar was just amazing!! Breakfast so cozy also! I don’t have anything bad to say and would recommend!

Great staff and breakfast
The booking agency told us that we would be given a room upgrade on both nights due to our VIP status. The hotel didn’t do that on either night. The rooms we had were extremely small, with no window, and noisy at night. We don’t think that the rooms we reserved. But the staff were great, and the breakfast was wonderful, which compensated for the room disappointments.

Modern hotel
The hotel room was really nice and modern. The room was quite small, but not too small. The shower was really nice. The hotel provides water that you can easily refill on your own. The only issue I had was that on the Friday night I stayed, they had incredibly loud techno music from their rooftop bar until midnight. It was so loud! Other than that, the hotel was really nice.

Okay stay, not worth the price
Pros: - Location: reasonable, a few restaurants nearby, like Lazeez Mediterranean Grill. - Breakfast: was delicious, order-in style. - Building: nice and new. Cons: - Rooms: was very small. No paper towel provided. The hot water would take forever to work. - Staff: were friendly, but they appeared inexperienced young folks who did not have adequate training on tourism. They were often confused or unsure. There was no consistency in the service received. View: none! The only window in the room overlooked the wall of next building. They have a rooftop lounge, but no proper view of medellin, to be honest. Breakfast: We were disappointed to find out that apparently fruit was included, but they did not offer us on our first day. Waffle was also burnt. Overall, it was a good stay, but nothing was spectacular.

Our stay at Wellcomm Hotel was overall nice. The hotel is beautiful, and everything met our expectations. The room was as described, and the staff was attentive, though the service was often slow. On the bright side, the food quality was excellent, and the pizza was delicious. However, I’m writing this review to alert other travelers about an important safety concern. One night, while walking towards the main street, we experienced an attempted robbery, which was a terrifying ordeal. Upon reporting it to the hotel, we discovered that they were aware of the area’s safety issues but failed to inform or warn us in advance. As a guest, especially when visiting a foreign country, it’s essential to feel safe and informed. We expressed our frustration to the staff, as we would have greatly appreciated being alerted to the potential danger so we could have taken extra precautions. I hope this review serves as a warning for others—not to discourage you from staying here, but to ensure that you’re mindful not to walk in that area at night. With this awareness, you can enjoy the hotel and its amenities while staying safe.
