Varmt rekommenderad Riad i Medina, Marakesh.
Mycket vacker riad inom murarna på Medina, Marakesh. Väldigt centralt belägen och extremt vänligt mottagande. De flesta riads i verkar ligga på skumma bakgator och även denna, men innanför entrén öppnade sig en oväntat vacker, moderniserad, ljus innegård med ett tiotal rum med egna badrum. Bemötandet var väldigt vänligt, De pratade bra engelska och en god frukost ingick i priset

Lovely riad close to the center of all the excitement in Marrakech medina but still quiet because it is off a side street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They walked us from the medina gate to the Riad the first day and showed us how to get around the medina. Breakfast was on the terrace and we could even order dinner in the riad if we wanted to.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Riad La Bigarade. We were able to have transport arranged to and from the airport. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the Riad is great as you are readily able to walk into the souk for shopping and eating and are able to walk to most sites you will want to visit while in Marrakesh. Despite the centrality of the location, the rooms were very peaceful and quite. We were able to come and go flexibly throughout our stay. Additionally, laundry services were available.

Secret Paradise Made by so by the Staff
Staying in a Riad is the most authentic and exciting way to stay in Marrakech, putting you right in the heart of the souks and old city, walking distance from all the main local attractions. They are unique and beautiful settings allowing you privacy and serene escape in a bustling city. What really made the experience at Road Bigarode though were the staff. Zuzu and Fahd who were more than friendly and welcoming, giving safe advice and help from printing boarding tickets, to sorting local Sims to allowing you to message them on WhatsApp. They were easy to talk to, make great tea and a beautiful breakfast which welcomes local birds in the morning.

Loved this Riad hidden in the Medina. Staff was warm and welcoming, the best of Berber and Arabic hospitality. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a Ryokan or Riad. And the food was good too!

Riad nuy bonito situado dentro de la Medina de Marrakech, con una ubicación ideal a pocos minutos andando de la Plaza Jemaa el-Fna. La zona es muy segura y silenciosa. El personal es muy amable y atento, te hace sentir en tu propia casa desde el momento de tu llegada. Puedes contactar con ellos para pedirles que te espere un chofer en el aeropuerto y te lleve hasta el Riad, ya que si es la primera vez que vas, no es fácil de localizar, al estar situado dentro de un callejón. Gracias a Idris, Malika y Aisha por el buen trato que recibimos.

Heel goed, betrouwbaar, goed gelegen midden in de medina. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Rustig gelegen, geen lawaai van verkeer. Niet bereikbaar met auto, maar binnen wandelafstand van de straat. Moeilijk te vinden met google maps.

Hidden Jewel of Marrakech
This is a gem of a place to stay if you want the full experience of the Medina in Marrakech. You will need good directions or simply pay a few coins to get help from those looking to lead tourists to their Riad. Once there, you will discover it is right in the heart of the Medina, with everything that this means, available within easy walking distance. La Bigarade has just undergone a complete but sympathetic refurbishment. You get the full mix of what a Riad should offer; cool central courtyard, Arabic features and a roof facility where a full, delicious Moroccan breakfast is served, which should get you through most of the day. The bedrooms are also fully refurbished with modern 'wet-room' facilities. Add to this the most pleasant staff who simply cannot do enough to make you feel like honoured guests. Overall, it is probably as close to a five-star experience as you are likely to get anywhere within the Medina. Don't pass this gem by - I'm so glad I didn't.
