Retro Bargain Cabin
Cute cabin, with 70’s style fireplace hood. Management was very helpful when pipes froze. It’s on “the drag” or the Main Street in town so you can walk to most things. Will stay again.

A bedside lamp would be nice, as well as one in the living room. The bed is very comfortable. The staff I spoke with were wonderful! Patient and calm in talking me through using the door lock and setting up an extra night's stay, was all well done.

WiFi isn’t good, so to check in, go to management office. Signal better there too. Nice cabin and dog friendly. Failed to read it was one big room. Ha my fault, but the beds are spaced out enough that nobody’s random snoring was a problem. Nice woods feel.

Great stay, simple, nice cabin. Only complaint is that the bed sheets and pillow cases smelled like they have not been washed.

great location
Walking in it smelled very good, walking through you end up walking through several cob webs, several spiders in the shower. Had zero water pressure in the shower on the first day, shower head was switched which was nice. After we got rain we were unable to sleep in the bed because it was soaked, when I looked at the roof it was covered with tarps. Best part of the stay was Cafe Rio in walking distance, amazing pizza.

Go elsewere to spend your money.
The sent me two communications. One to check in at another location from the property. The other to just let myself in the room with a combination. When I got to the property there was a sign on a window to go the other property to check in. At the check in site there was no one there. I called twice and pushed the ring door bell. On ariving at the unit the second time the pass code did allow entry. The texted instructions told to check at a location for the internet key. It was not there. I found a letter taped to the wall that gave the password. I called the number given on the information for help. They did not call back within 24 hours. The place is old, not rustic but old.

Nice cabin, big enough for my family of 12. No toiletries, no hand soap , toilet paper.

Communication, office is not in the same place of the rental. We were not aware of it, had to ask. Towels and linen very old and disgusting.

6/10 Good

Cute and cozy cabin, it is not a luxurious stay though. I wish I had read more of the reviews so I could have brought our own pillows. The ones provided were terrible so we didnt sleep much. There was a door in the bedroom that has a window and it was really bright at 6 am. Once the traffic picked up there was no more trying to sleep especially when the neighbors were up, you could hear them coughing from their own cabin. It was affordable and clean for the most part. There was a lamp that was super dusty next to the bed. There are few details, the caulk in the restroom was sloppy, the bathroom sink and the toilet loose. I did read some reviews and came prepared with toiletries because other than soap, none were provided. If we did choose to stay here again, I would ask the front desk for another blanket and bring my own pillows and we would be ok. Checking in, is always easy they own multiple locations and we have stayed at a few. The staff at the front desk have always been nice and the little shop has cute stuff.

The location of the cabin was phenomenal but the maintenance was terrible. The bed covers were not washed they had stains and long strands of hair in between the comforter and sheets. We had to go buy our own blankets and sheets. The living room couches also had white dried stains on the cushions and in between the cushions there were crumbs. The bathroom shower was not suitable for my tall husband and son. I wished they had mentioned that the shower ceiling is sloped.

2/10 Poor

Bear Cub worst cabin great location but you can see day light through the doors, panels falling off the walls, bed is so loud, didn’t look like the sheets had been washed we had to sleep on top and go buy blankets, extension cord running through the main door for the tv, while in the wall where the propane line is you can feel air coming through, looks like a 4 year old painted the walls, shower was nasty couldn’t even bring myself to shower. Never again!
Ashley, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Was quiet and within walking distance to a lot of unique shops, had a pleasant stay. The cabin however, the floors were really dirty, got my socks dirty even found an old dirty sock on the floor and a stinky blanket. Also we froze for half the night because the heater was not working, woke up at 3am freezing, thank goodness we had a lighter handy so we had to light thr pilot and get the heater going.

Overall the pricing good and the location was perfect. However, as far as the cleanliness, that was below average. You could tell nobody walks through the unit before checking in once we arrived, and I walked through the cabin. I noticed spiderwebs and all the corners, some spiders in the bathroom. Initially, I had to let the water run for about 30 minutes because it came out yellow because nobody stayed there in a while. I can’t complain because as I said the pricing was good, so I guess I got what I paid for hopefully in the future Casey’s cabins could make minor upgrades to make the stay more comfortable

NOPE, Freezing and shabby!
Absolutely freezing! From start to finish this was a comedy of disasters. Finally arrive and get the door code at the lockbox, google kept taking us to Anytime fitness (it’s next door). Got the code and the map to take us down to midtown. Arrive at the cabin, go into a freezing cabin, one where you can actually see your breath. Grab the radiator and get that turned on, very little heat. Bed, when you sit down, feels like it’s breaking and will go thru the thin floor. Now don’t touch the walls as they are the freaking cold and I mean, frost could’ve formed inside! Okay, onto the bathroom, oh you mean the addition to the cabin that is almost outside? The one that is so small that they cut out the door (that you can barely open) so that is fits to slide passed the toilet. Oh yeah NO SOAP… my bad if I didn’t see the fine print for this VERY expensive cabin where there was no toiletries. Soap is a must! Now the cabin is still freezing and you can hear the neighbors in the bathroom doing their business…. WHAT??? Try going to sleep with broken blinds, doors that are not sealed, windows that are not sealed, and hearing everything that is happening within 5 feet of your bed, nearly impossible. Trying to find something on TV to drown out the noise, internet is a foreign concept…. Kept going out and barely got to finish the episode of 20/20! This was supposed to be a romantic getaway, however having to wear every piece of clothing to get warm, not so much.
A little late in keeping up to date, NOT a safe feeling!
Weather stripping used as caulk?
Um, not quite sure how this will help the dirt under the floor!
