Clean but…

We called ahead and asked for a room on first floor, we were told we could have that and we had reserved a king bed. On checkin, they decided to move us to two queens and said we did not call about the first floor room. The room looked recently remodeled, except bathroom tile. It was clean. We did not like that the key chain and the parking pass clearly had our room numbers on them. The door jam had evidence of the door previously having been broken into. And as others have stated, the hot tub was not hot and the pool not heated. Appreciate the cleanliness but it needs work.

Never In My Life.....

Don't know where to start. Asked for a king bed. Buyer beware. The "room" we were given, more like a converted closet, for $400, I might add, was literally 10 x 10. We measured it. With a king bed right in the center, we literally had only 1 foot to maneuver around the bed (between bed and wall), all while ducking to make sure we didn't walk into the TV hanging on the wall. Bathroom was slightly bigger than a large casket. Toilet was CROOKED and unstable. Windows? Tiny, with an air conditioner occupying one. The other looked out, through the broken blinds (no privacy) onto an alleyway of a bar. The floor was dirty enough that I had to wash my feet in the morning from my nightly bathroom trips. EWW! Totally confused - the pics on the site did their job. Major bait and switch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - especially a $400 cost! Shame on them for charging so much for HALF a room...not even worth $50/night.

Nice little motel

Mango Motel is a nice little motel experience. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. My impression was that this was a pretty well refurbished motel that had been around for a little while. Some quirks to that but overall functional and comfortable. I had a corner room which came with a kitchenette. Worked well for my needs but felt like it would be a bit tight with more than two people.

Room was clean and updated. Bathroom was OK. Owner was very polite and cooperative -- very accommodating! What I needed was a place to sleep and this served that purpose.

The price was crazy for what we got. Bathroom had ants! Not the cleanest! Tv wouldn’t work and let them know and the guy came to knock on our door at 11:00pm. Like that is late and i am not answering the door. It was unacceptable! The overall place was not great!!

Horrible

The room they tried to put us in was with a king size bed was a 10 x 12‘ room. The only window had an air conditioning unit in so there was no direct sunlight and black mold in the air conditioner and the outlets on the nightstand did not work. They did provide us with a different room for the night. We checked out the next day and left ending our couples weekend away.

Great location and reasonable stay for a family

Location is great, 5 min walk to beach and boardwalk, located near rides, convenient parking, nice pool and spa, rooms were adequate for a family of 4 and had refrigerator. Beds were fine as well as pillows, rooms were clean and fresh towels. We had an end unit and at night could hear loud cars and motorcycles. Staff was very friendly and accommodating

Called several times to see what time we would get there, even though check-in time is listed at 3pm. They had our info wrong and agrued that we didn't have the right card to show them, we have to show them the credit card statements to prove they had the wrong numbers but we were charged. The room has just enough room to carefully walk around the bed, bathroom was just big enough to close the door. Heard scratching on the wall in the morning that repeated a couple times. Left the room to throw our things into the car and they called to see why our door was unlocked and said they couldn't enter until we left, it was 9am and check-out is listed at 11am. We always do a finally sweep of the room to make sure we got everything and we're going right back in to look and lock up. Just very strange overall but the air conditioner worked wonderfully.

My fiance and I came to stay with my family that stayed at the Caprice. Our 9 year old son came with us, and stayed with my family at the Caprice Motel.

Mixed review

The floor was filthy. The room was cute but needed work still. The tub was full of cracks, water spots on the ceiling, toilet was wobbly, side of the air conditioner was stuffed with a towel so it wasn’t open to the outside.
