Only stayed 1 night and the water boiler broke so we had no hot water to shower the day of our flight back to New York. Water was freezing cold! Never had any other issues and this was our 4th stay here…

Most Comfortable Bed, Huge Room, Amazing View!!
I so wish we could have stayed for more than 1 night. We arrived early and we're able to leave our luggage on site while we enjoyed the area before checking in. Upon check in, we were escorted to our palatial-sized room and were given information about breakfast in the morning, which we, unfortunately, had to miss due to an early train we needed to catch. The windows opened right up to the canal and a footbridge. They had shutters, which we were able to close at bedtime, which were very effective at blocking out both sound and light. Most importantly, this was the most comfortable bed we slept in during our 3 week trip to Greece and Italy!

Great hotel, not a lot of rooms so no noise. Elevator is very tiny and slow however it works and that is the main thing. Air conditioning seemed to be set at a certain temperature but again it worked so that is what mattered. Excellent continental breakfast and great cappuccino. Easy to find from water taxi, recommend google directions ahead and you’ll be fine.

2/10 Poor

It was a family trip. We were 4 and got a 2 bedroom room that it was great as a family. We run out same day to start our planned trip. When we got back from a hot day (101 Fahrenheit) and thinking to get cool down in the room and sleep comfortable after a shower, IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. Our room was an oven with not A/C, also unable to open the windows because the mosquitos and the heat. We asked for a room changed but there were no more rooms available. We asked for fans and got a MINI/TABLE FAN that it was not enough even for 1 person. PLEASE CONSIDERATE TO BOOKED A DIFFERENT HOTEL DURING THE SUMMER SEASON. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP WITH NOT A|C DURING SUMMER IN VENICE.

There was no lift in the building our rooms were located which was a great disadvantage and trouble for my elderly mother who found it difficult climbing up the stairs to our room. It was also a nightmare taking our luggages to and from our rooms whilst climbing up and down the stairs.

Awesome place
Distinguished looking place, but not easy to enter and the tiny cage-like lift to the 3rd floor reception was a bit scary for me and my daughter. We paid for 2 nights for 3 people but cancelled when we realised it was inaccessible for my husband. No refund was offered by the hotel so my daughter stayed one night in the 2 -bedroom suite and had to leave before breakfast began. As they profited from our expensive mistake, we thought a small refund would have been reasonable.

Enjoyed our Stay
We really enjoyed the stay. The room is nice, consistent with the old European style decor, not necessarily updated, but nice. Decent view of one of the smaller canals. Good breakfast. Although all rooms are right off the breakfast and reception area was something of a surprise, that was fine and would definitely stay again.

Palazzo living next to best cicchetti e bacaro
Great Location! No in the middle of mayhem, but close to everything, plus literally next to the best cichetti spot in Venezia, no seats, looks like and is a wine store, but dang the cicchetti are the bomb! Their marinated fried sardine with onion one was better than than the Sarde in Saor at a fancy, reservations only restaurant where it cost 10 times more. You must go. At the hotel the staff is super friendly (recommended the perfect walking tour and gave us a paper map right after we arrived). We splurged on a canal view room and it was a Venetian pallazzo dream cone true! We'll stay here again.
