Hidden gem in Lake City

My sister lives in Lake City, and we always had forgotten about this place. But, this time we remembered and tried it, and it was a super cool place. Very different layout with old school charm, great bed, great bathroom, and the kitchenette was super convenient also. Will definitely go back.

Second time just as charming as the first

Second time staying here and second time reviewing. This hotel is such a bargain. We did show up on a Sunday night, however. The town is kind of closed up on Sunday nights, so if you planned on enjoying a nice dinner in town, don’t stay on a Sunday night.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The team were extremely responsive by text and we felt looked after in every way. It is worth noting that this is not your usual hotel in that there is no room service or restaurant on site. We took the recommendation of The Blanche team and ate at a wonderful local restaurant and had breakfast at an outstanding coffee bar the next morning. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Really liked the no-touch/no-complications checkin/out. Room was great, good space and clean... loud appliance on the counter (dehumidifier?) was really loud but we turned it to Low and was fine. Will stay again if overnighting in the area, definitely. All things equal, the only drawbacks are pricey and parking was not as close as usual hotel/motel lots are

Definitely has potential to be five star. Very clean, beautifully restored and maintained and felt safe and secure. Bed was nicely appointed and comfortable. Temperature easily and well maintained. I was reluctant to use a hotel with no on site personnel. It was a great experience. Absolutely better than the cursory front desk personnel. Kept us up to date on any info and instantly responded to one brief inquiry. Kitchenette sparse with no condiments like salt and pepper, drying or hand towels, towels, paper towels, glasses, knives. There was plenty of coffee and sweetener and creamer. We were in room 209, a king premier suite, and the WiFi and internet were terrible. If you need to work you will want to see if a different room works better. Though there is no onsite parking there was plenty of free parking nearby with no issues. Definitely would stay again.

A big surprise can’t wait to come again

This was an amazing surprise. One of the best stays I’ve had family. It was like a condo. No reception you got codes for the lobby in your room. Big open spaces balcony in downtown Lake City it was gorgeous inside huge big chandeliers. It was not very populated at all. It’s not like we had to hold the building to ourselves. Absolutely gorgeous you will not regret staying here and you’ll find a way to come back if you can
