The hotel is very new and has a wonderful design. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly. As it was my birthday, the room was furnished with birthday balloons and a birthday pancake was presented to me at breakfast.

$20,000 Hermes Kelly Bag stolen by Housekeeping!
Me and my wife recently stayed at the Intercontinental Bangkok Sukhumvit, and my experience was ruined by a shocking incident that raises serious concerns about the hotel’s safety and security.
On July 18th, during our stay in room #2402, my $20,000 Hermes Kelly bag was stolen. We had checked out at 9:00 am but unfortunately my wife forgot her Hermes bag by the sofa. It was only when we arrived at the airport that she realized the bag was missing. We immediately contacted the hotel, yet we waited an unbelievable six hours for any response.
The hotel management informed us that only two housekeepers had accessed our room after we left, and both denied involvement. Despite this, these employees are still working at the hotel, which makes me question the hotel’s commitment to guest safety.
Even more concerning is the management’s lack of action. Their communication has been severely lacking, and they have refused to take any responsibility. Instead, they pushed all accountability onto their insurance company, which claimed that guests are solely responsible for their valuables.
This incident begs the question: how can guests feel secure if their belongings aren’t safe even in their own rooms? Is the hotel’s safe the only place where valuables are protected? Shouldn’t guests expect their belongings to be secure throughout the hotel?
I urge anyone considering a stay at the Intercontinental Bangkok Sukhumvit to think twice!

I ordered 7 rooms with king bed. I had a confermation on my order. We’ve got 2 rooms with king bed and 5 rooms with 2 queen bed. It makes hard feelings with the group.

The breakfast was not nice, not much choices! Pillow is too soft. Plus point got coffee machine inside the room.The lobby was too small like a 3 star. We wanted to booked intercontinental Bangkok which looks and feels so much grand and luxury but clicked wrongly so ended here.
