The property was clean, updated and well kept. The building is beautiful and has tons of amenities. My biggest issues were the lack of apartment amenities (i.e. not enough towels and washcloths, no oven mitts/potholders) and the parking situation. Anyone who's ever been to the dmv area knows the parking rules are abysmal. And the management company didn't hesitate to capitalize on that. They charge $20 per day, per car which must be paid in full prior to arrival and non-refundable should you not use it for some reason during your stay. This was less than ideal for the logistics of my party's stay so I rolled the dice and the concierge at the front desk was kind enough to let me know that street parking was free btwn 8pm and 8am most days and all day on Sunday. For instances outside of those times we ended up using spot hero and reserved parking in a covered garage in a building across the street for less than $10/day. Ultimately, I would have considered staying here again if not for the final issue. The night before i checked out there was a fire in the garage which required all guests and residents to evacuate the building for over two hours (some time around midnight). When I reached out to the management company about offering us an additional 2 hrs before checkout to make up for the inconvenience, i was told that because said inconvenience was not under their control they could not accommodate my request. Which is total b.s. The fix is definitely in their control
