Overall nice stay at affordable motel

We were pleasantly surprised at our room. While things like the bath tube were obviously dated by the color, the room was nice and clean, you can tell they’ve updated it by the paint colors. The only thing which we didn’t like was the bed. It was hard and left my body sore. But overall, the room was clean, had a fridge and microwave, tv didn’t have local stations but had a Fire TV (I could be wrong but we didn’t watch much tv). It had a couch and chair, desk. Check in took a little longer then expected because they were having some issues with the person checking in before us and finding their reservation. But overall, the area was perfectly fine, it was quiet. The outside of the building could use some TLC like a simple coat of paint on the railings, things like that to spruce it up. But I would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for, but it needs upgrades

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 10 years or so. Rooms are never exceptional, which I know that. Everything needs a little upgrade which I know that as well. But for some reason the room I got this time definitely needed some new carpet. There are multiple spots in the carpet where there were holes and the edges of the carpets were severely frayed, and they were also stained and sticky. Tub needs to be resurfaced.

Waited at the front desk for 15 minutes. Rang the bell 4 times. Called but cordless phone was at the desk. Would have used the walkie to call but could see there were as many walkies on the counter as charging docks. Attendant finally came out, actively eating, when we started knocking on windows and doors around the back of the office. After traveling traveling all day we were not happy to have to work so hard to check into our room.

Older place but comfortable

Check in was poor. Front office person was rude, unhelpful, and refused a second key for 3 adult guests. Otherwise, for an older property the room was as expected…basic, but clean, comfortable beds, and a/c was very efficient and quiet. Fixtures are old but everything worked. For the rate during peak season we were pleased and would stay again.

Tub had major flaking paint. Ice machine right outside our door made for a loud alarm at 4 AM. The lady at the front desk was busy but very kind.
