Great historic property near downtown Edenton. Greeted by inn keeper and shown to our nicely appointed second floor room.Walked to our supper a couple blocks away close to the riverfront. Recommend for couples or single travelers. Excellent breakfast included.

The House is an authentic 1907 home in great condition. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great. And it is really well located so that you can easily walk to the waterfront, 2 Main St., into the historic district. We had a great time.

Quiet and comfy

The room was comfortable and spacious. The sitting area was not meant for long term sitting / working / conversation, but most would not care. Lots of windows and the shutters did a great job darkening the room & minimizing exterior light when desired. The mattress was acceptable (moved every time he did - but that is my problem) and the pillow selection was wonderful - a bit of everything was available. You will need to go next door (same property) for some of the amenities (ice, water, inside sitting area, and breakfast.) The staff was super friendly and the food was very good. We enjoyed our stay.
