When we checked into our room there was a mass quantity of bugs all over the ceiling and on the walls. The front desk person offered to switch our room but we found the exact same bug infestation in the second room as well. We decided to leave. Hotel management refused to refund our money.

A small blip our room key would not open the door. The night desk person was very helpful and kind. Finally after many tries and redoing the key it worked. He was excellent at helping us.

The place isn't a bad place however, upon our arrival we got checked in and went to our room. It was so humid the air was heavy. There is a sign that says wait 15 min for the room to cool down. We did and it did not. Now it was 93 degrees today. We mentioned to Ben that the room was still hot. They sent a female and male maintenance to our room. At this time they bypassed the AC from the wall unit to the actual unit to run non stop. They told us they had to do that to all the rooms. We were then asked to wait it out somemore. We went to the pool to give it time. We went back to our room and the hallways were cooler than the room. We asked to be switched to another room. Josie told us they didn’t have another room as they were all this way. We decided we were not going to stay due to no air conditioning. We webt downstairs and talked with Josie about this at 4:20pm and left at 4:30 pm. So at this point we have been at the property for 1.5 hrs as we checked in at 3pm. We stayed only because they asked to give it a chance. We talk to Ben the next morning and he says that he went to our room the next morning and the air was working fine yet the maintenance crew stated it was hot in our room. All the rooms were like this. He insults our intelligence with the whole 106 degree day. It was 93. We also traveled one block to the Hamptons and they have the same brand of air conditioners, "amana" and they work just fine. They told us they would not refund our money and charged us for day

Unhelpful staff
We had an issue with streaming from our phone to the TV. The night front desk person was not helpful. I called the number the front desk person told me to call. They were unable to fix the problem. I was told that a maintenance person would come in the next day to fix the problem. The problem was not fixed. When I stopped down to talk to the front desk person she again could not help, but she wrote down our concerns and said she'd give the information to her manager who was working the next morning. When I checked out the he manager knew nothing of my issue. Very frustrating.
