If you like to experience Cabo's downtown, modern-traditional, local cuisine (where locals go not tourists) this is the hotel for you. Downtown San Jose is gorgeous! Just make sure to request the downtown view for great photos!
If you are here for the beach and fishing scene, this may be too far for your liking. But if you want to walk around, into the art scene, local experience, and architecture, this hotel is definitely for you. My husband went fishing and it took him 40-45 minutes to get to the San Lucas Marina. I love the art scene and came for the 2nd time to experience their Halloween and the Day of The Dead events that lasts for 3-4 days depending where you are located in Cabo. It was excellent!
The hotel is brand new, clean, have the friendliest and most hospitable personnel. We enjoyed sunbathing on the rooftop pool overlooking the downtown scene, and the hilltops in San Jose.
Dining restaurant choices are extremely huge, walking distance, and very accommodating. You have to visit our favorite local restaurants:
La paisa (Best Local Tacos) and Torre Guerro (Seafood) amazing freshly made food at a great price! We also suggest to get your breakfast and lunch by the Flamboyant Hotel called Cafe Canafia. They have the best priced and excellent quality food.
We will definitely go back to Flamboyant Hotel.
